Liyah’s POV

Don’t get me wrong, I do feel somewhat bad for telling him like that, but yall have to put yourself in my shoes. How would you feel if somebody that you really like tells you that? To me personally I just can’t deal and honestly I won’t. He looked at me and I knew I hit a soft spot.

“So you saying you don’t see us together anymore?” he asked.

“That’s right.” I nodded. “I’m not saying it to be mean, but you just can’t come and out of my life whenever you want to.”

“Liyah.” He grabbed my hands. “I love you.”

“Drew.” I shook my head. “That’s not going to work this time, not again.”

“Okay.” He nodded. “But can you ad least consider what I said?”

“What did you say?” I asked.

“Them three words.”

“I’ll try.” I whispered.

“So I guess I’ll see you around.” He nodded.

“Yeah.” I smiled. “See you around.”

He grabbed his phone and hopped up. I watched him as he walked to his car. He opened the door and looked back at me. He gave me a warm smile and I nodded. He hopped in his car and pulled off. I sat back in my seat and just looked straight ahead. Can’t believe my life changed like this, this fast. I heard the doorbell ring, letting us know somebody walked in. I turned and saw Diamond. Her eyes were red and puffy. I smiled and she came rushing in my direction. She took a seat across from me. I couldn’t help but to stare.

“What’s up?” I said, passing her a napkin.

“He’s done with me.” She cried.

“It’s okay.” I whispered.

“No it’s not!” she cried more.

“Why?”

“Because I’m carrying his seed.” She cried.

“What?” I smiled. “You pregnant?”

“Yes.” She whined. “And I didn’t tell him.”

“Why?”

“Cause he told me.” She cried. “He don’t want anything to do with me.”

“I heard that.”

“So why did you ask?”

“Cause to me personally you should tell him.” I preached. “Even if he don’t want to hear it, tell him anyway.”

“I will try.” She whispered, wiping her eyes. “Why you here?”

“Cause Drew called me.” I yawned.

“For what?”

“Same thing.” I shrugged. “And I told him, I don’t feel the same way.”

“Liyah ad least try and consider it.”

“Don’t you think I tried.”

“And he won’t quit?”

“No.” I shook my head.

“Now what?”

“What?”

“What are two going to do?” she asked. “Friends or nahh?”

“Friends.” I nodded. “I mean I don’t think we can be together.”

“I understand.” She looked around. “So where is Missy?”
