Missy’s POV
I’m sitting on the floor watching movies with Rick. I can truly say I am happy with him. I’m lying in between his legs, I looked up at him and smiled. He shook his head and smiled.
“What you staring at?” he smiled.
“Trying to figure out how I got stuck with you?” I laughed.
“You saying I’m ugly?”
“No.” I smiled. “I’m saying you threw.”
“For real?” he asked.
“Would I lie to you?” I asked.
“I’m hurt.” He pouted.
“Sorry.” I smiled. “Wanna hug?”
“No.” he pouted. “I want you to make me some cookies.”
“Why you can’t go and just by you some?” I whined.
“Cause we bought all that cookie dough.” He stood up, grabbing my hands. “And we are going to make it.”
“But I don’t wanna.” I whined.
“Come on.” He smiled, throwing me over my shoulder.
“Put me down.” I laughed. “Okay I can walk.”
“You promise to make them?”
“Yes.” I yelled, laughing. “Please put me down.”
“Okay.” He laughed. “But let’s go to the grocery store and get some milk.”
“Can’t have cookies without milk.” He smiled.
“You right.” I smiled. “I’m not wearing no shoes.”
“Grab my flip flops.” He said over his shoulder.
“Okay.” I smiled.
“Ready?” he asked reaching for the door handle.
“Wait!” I yelled. “Ain’t you going to put on a different shirt?”
“What’s wrong with this one?” he asked.
“Look.” I pointed at him. “You got on a beater and we all can see your chest and muscles. I don’t’ want anybody to see what’s mine.”
“So you jealous?” he smirked.
“No.” I lied.
“If you want me to put on a different shirt, I will.” He whispered.
“Go get a full shirt.”
“Whatever you say.” He yelled, running down the hallway.
I slid on the flip flops and threw my hair into a sloppy bun. I grabbed my jacket and zipped it up. I heard his footsteps, coming.
“Ready?” he asked.
“Yeah.” I looked at him. “That’s better.”
“Whatever.” He smiled.
“Glad you know who run this.” I said, walking ahead of him.
“And I know that person.” He smiled. “Is me.”
“Naw.” I smiled, hopping in the car. “It’s all me.”
“If you say so.” He smiled, starting up the car.
We rode to the store telling each other who run this. He knows where he stand. He know who run this, he know he not going anywhere. We walked in the store and headed towards the milk.
