Liyah’s POV

We walked out the house, Missy just smiling and laughing about Drew. I was wearing my normal Hollister sweat outfit. Since Missy and I wear the same size, she’s wearing my red one.

“Girl I’m telling you he is fine.” She laughed. “Is he tatted?”

“Umm.” I laughed. “I don’t know.”

“Well the next time you will be seeing him is?” she asked.

“Umm.” I laughed again. “He is coming to my party.”

“Are you sure?” she smiled.

“Yeah.” I nodded. “The party is tomorrow night.”

“Dang we parting all over again?” she asked.

“And you know that.” I sung.

We walked to the park and just sat on the swings. Missy was going up and down, telling me what have been going on since I left. In the middle of her story, I heard somebody whistle. Missy looked around I just looked down at my shoes. Last time I checked, my parents are human. Missy looked back at me blushing.

“Liyah look.” She whispered.

I turned my head and saw some light skinned boys. One was wearing some black pants, gray Polo shirt, and some white Forces. The other one had some bleached Levis, a white shirt, and some black Forces. Smh, if you are going to try and talk to me at least match. I hopped off my swing and brushed myself off; Missy stood next to me and was smiling so hard. They approached us and the bleached jeans were just staring at me.

“Hi.” Missy smiled.

“Hi.” Polo shirt, waved. “My name is JoJo, but you can call me Jay. And this is my boy Rees.”

“Hi.” Rees smiled. “What’s your name?”

“Missy.” She answered. “And this is my cousin Liyah.”

“Liyah.” Rees whispered. “That’s pretty, just like you.”

          I laughed.

“What’s so funny?” Rees asked.

“You.” I giggled.

“How?”

“I mean come on.” I laughed. “I already heard that line, but I give you props for trying.”

“Dang why you so cold?” Rees asked.

“I’m not cold.” I smiled. “And I’m also not dumb.”

“Nobody said you were.” He snapped back.

“Oh you mad?” I asked.

“Yeah.” He admitted.

“Well stay mad!” I snapped, walking away.

“Nice meeting you guys.” I heard Missy say.

She caught up with me and snatched me by my arm. I looked at her like she was crazy; I know she didn’t just snatch me! We were face to face I can really say she I so close to getting slapped.

“What?” I asked.

“Why did you do that?” she whispered.

“Because I’m not a dog!” I yelled. “And you not either.”

“What that mean?” she asked.

“They whistled at us!” I yelled. “They is no ounce of dog in us!”
