Chapter 8

*Shu's POV*
      "Sing for me." I looked at her, as she let go of me. At first she was quiet, but then she nodded.
      I took this time to lay down, with my head on her lap. I closed my eyes and felt a hand on my head. I could feel her staring at me as she played with my hair.
      "You going to stare at me or sing?" I asked her, opening one eye. Even from this view I could see her get flustered; she looked cute.
      "N-No! I was just thinking of what to sing." She pouted. I smiled a little at her then said she should just sing one of her favorite songs.
      She nodded and made a face as she was thinking. I don't know what it was about her, but it made me want to protect her. She obviously was strong, and could handle herself, but she almost broke down just then. And I wanted to be there for her.
       Not only that; I wanted her to be mine and only mine. When I noticed the bite marks on her and the cuts Reiji put on her, it pissed me off. She's obviously hurt, and she needs to become stronger, but Reiji is trying to break her. And I'm not going to let him.
      I looked at her as she took a deep breath, then started to sing. Her voice was beautiful, it honestly made me think what she sounded like in bed (wink), but I pushed the thoughts aside to listen to her now.

*Yoshiko's POV*
I finished singing and looked down at Shu. He stared back at me as I was still playing with his hair. I blushed and looked away from him, casually starting to braid his hair.
      "You have a beautiful voice." He said before closing his eyes. I mumbled a thank you and admired the braid in his hair. I giggled and started making another one next to it.
      "What are you doing?" He started to sit up, just as I finished the second braid. I looked at him as he faced me.
      "I braided some of your hair." I smiled proudly. I frowned at his words after.
      "Take it out." He looked at me seriously. I pouted as he stood up. I shot up and grabbed his hand before he touched the braids.
      "No, don't! You look so cute~" I teased and gave him a toothy grin. He sighed before messing up my hair.
      "You're lucky you're the cute one." He smirked before walking away, and out of the music room. Once again, leaving me to blush madly at him.
      I fell down onto the bench, rather dramatically, and ran a hand through my hair. I sighed and started whining about why he had to be so hot and nice. Even though he was mean sometimes.
      "Your whining is loud." I heard Shu say, while poking his head back through the door. I blushed again, as he smirked.
      "G-Go away!" I yelled, trying to find something to throw at him, but he had already walked away. And for real this time. I groaned and pulled at my hair. He heard me say everything. Shit...
      I got up, slowly making my way to walk out, until I sensed someone behind me. I stopped, barely turning around but not seeing the persons face. I turned completely and threw a punch at the person; hitting them in the face.
      "Ow, Yoshi-chan~ That actually hurt." I face-palmed when I saw Laito, rubbing his cheek.
      "Baka! Why would you come up behind me?" I looked at him and he just chuckled.
      "I heard someone singing and I wanted to see if it was actually you." He grinned awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.
      "Oh...well, yeah it was me. W-Wait, does that mean you've been here since I was singing?" He nodded and I covered my face. "You heard everything?" He nodded again, smirking mischievously.
       "Laito, please don't say anything!" I grabbed his hand and practically begged him. This only made him smirk.
      "I can keep my mouth shut about your crush if..." I yelled at him that it isn't a crush, then he laughed and continued, "you let me taste you~"
      I blushed a little, barely frowning, why does everyone want my blood? Ugh. Either way I nodded.
      "Oh but you didn't say which way I could taste you~" He started, until I smacked him in the back of the head.
      "You can have my blood, is what I meant, pervert!" He chuckled at my reaction then pushed me against a wall, wasting no time in biting down on my shoulder.
      I looked away and let him continue, yet still getting ready to punch him if he tried to go as far as Ayato. Though he soon pulled away, wiping blood from his chin.
      "They were right, your blood is rather sweet." He winked at me, before turning around to the piano.
      I just looked away from him, grateful that he stopped the bleeding. I mumbled a thanks then started to leave, but the sound of the piano stopped me.
      Laito was playing, and it was beautiful. I stopped to listen, then I had an idea. Shu asked if I could play earlier...maybe Laito could teach me! I smiled at my idea and quickly went to Laito, who was seated at the bench.
      "You want me to teach you, hm~?" He smirked, already knowing why I came back. I nodded eagerly.
      "I will need something in return." He stated, as he looked at me. I already knew he meant my blood. So I barely nodded.
       Yeah I guess it seems dumb; getting bit whenever he wanted to bite me, just so I could learn to play piano. But I felt like I needed to learn. In all honesty, I wanted to learn for Shu.
