*Yoshiko's POV*
I was just falling over the side when I felt two arms around me. They were wrapped around my arms as well, but I couldn't tell who it was. I tried to get out of their grip as they pulled me back onto the roof. I was on top of the person, so they fell and landed on their back.
"Let go of me!" I screamed, kicking around to get them to let go.
"Yoshiko, what the hell were you thinking?" It was Shu. He sat up, still holding me, even as I continued to kick.
"Just let go!" I kept yelling at him and kicking; but he wasn't letting up that easy.
I hadn't even paid attention as the other brothers, and Yui, ended up on the roof as well. I kept shouting at him about how my father was trying to tell me something and to release me. But my constant screams about my father soon turned to me crying.
"He won't leave me alone." I kept crying quietly as I stopped trying to get out of his grip. "He's gonna come soon and he's gonna kill me. I can't do it, Shu. I'm not ready..." I said in between hiccups and fits of tears.
I doubted Shu even knew what I was talking about; I had only told Subaru about what I had to do. Though Shu surprised me. He turned me around and hugged me.
"No. You can do it. You're going to kill him. You just need time. He's not going to get to you first...I promise." He practically rocked me like a child, while I was breaking down.
"H-How did you know I have to--" I started, looking up at him.
"I'll tell you later. Just listen to me. He's not going to kill you, alright?" He looked down at me, with a serious yet concerned face; one I hadn't really seen.
I nodded my head, trying to wipe at my face. He picked me up bridal style, and that's when I saw that they all watched me break down. I held onto Shu and covered my face as he walked closer to them.
"I'm taking her home." I heard him say, but then my wonderful little sister had to pipe up.
"She's too weak; he'll kill her either way. She just needs to deal with it and stop being so dramatic." I swear that was one of the dumbest things I've heard her say. But I stayed quiet, holding on tighter to Shu. I felt too tired to even talk back to her.
"Yui, what the hell is wrong with you!?" Subaru yelled at her. I think he punched something, but I didn't see. I barely peeked to see the guys (except Reiji) giving her the dirtiest look and walking back to the stairs. Even Ayato shook his head at her.
The moment they were gone, I blinked and we were in the music room. Shu sat down with me in between his legs, keeping his arms around me. He leaned back and closed his eyes, sighing.
"I'm sorry, Shu." I mumbled, leaning back on him.
"You're really troublesome," he replied, but after another sigh he continued, "but I understand. He won't get off your back."
I mumbled a yeah in response. Then we stayed quiet.
"What has he done to you?" Shu broke the silence. My eyes opened and I turned my head to look at him. He did the same, waiting for an answer.
"Well what do you mean?" I asked back, honestly trying to avoid the question.
"You act so happy all the time, but you're obviously hurt. What has he done to hurt you that bad?"
"Well...he completely neglected me when I was born. He didn't care about how my mother treated me. Soon she got tired of me so she told him I was acting up. He'd show up and beat me in front of her and Yui. They wouldn't do anything to help.
"Eventually he didn't want to keep coming so he took me to the Demon world. For around two years he kept me in a cell and tortured me. He got tired of me too and sent me back. But I ended up in the cell a couple years later, just for the same thing to happen."
I looked away as I continued telling him. I told him all the things they would tell me. And when I was done, Shu didn't say anything for a while.
"I'm sorry. I won't let him hurt you again." There was a long silence again. I thought he was asleep, so I closed my eyes. We sat there, until I remembered earlier.
"How'd you know I have to kill him?" I didn't know if he was awake, but I asked either way.
"Can't you just rest?" He said sleepily. I pouted and annoyingly called his name until he sighed and told me to shut up.
"The reason you're here is because of your friend, Kaden." I looked at him when he said his name, but let him finish.
"He told me everything. He figured you wouldn't get any stronger if you were at the church, so he sent you here. He must of known my father cause then he told us we can't kill you or try to."
"Reiji is doing a great job of that..." I mumbled to myself, closing my eyes again.
"Why didn't you tell the others? They didn't even know I was human when I came." I asked him, realizing Subaru didn't know when I told him.
"I plan to. Now rest, I know you're tired. And so am I." He whispered the last part.
"Yeah I am pretty tired..." He let me move to get comfortable and I soon fell asleep.

I was half awake and I felt myself being carried. I looked up and saw blonde hair, through blurry eyes. I looked around and saw the brothers and Yui sitting or standing somewhere in the main room.
"Shu...what's happening...?" I mumbled out, looking up at him.
"Just go back to sleep." He said, sitting down and still holding me.
"What if I dun wanna?" I slightly slurred, still barely awake.
"Yoshiko. Hush." I mumbled a 'fine' and cuddled up to him, falling asleep soon after.
I was obviously asleep and didn't hear, but Shu told them everything. Subaru, being the only other one who knew, wasn't surprised. Though the others had some sort of different reaction.
Everyone even agreed to help me train; except for Yui and Reiji. I don't know what he has against me, but I didn't mind him not wanting to help. He would probably try to take me head off, which really would kill me.
