Chapter 13

*Yoshiko's POV*
      "Kaden..!" I jumped forward and tackled him in a hug, almost making him fall. He laughed and hugged me back. When our little moment was over I let go, and saw the others standing near and watching.
      "Guys, this is my cousin and best friend, Kaden." I smiled wide and pushed him forward so they could see him. He gave a piece sign as a hello. I then introduced them all to Kaden, grinning like a little kid.
      "So you're the one I talked to? Nice to meet you." Kaden put his hand out to Shu. The blonde looked him up and down, then took his hand and nodded. Kaden then turned to me.
      "Well it was nice but I can't really stay long. I came to tell you something." He looked serious now. My smile slowly faded as he looked at me.
"Your father. He knows you're really the only one who can stop him so he's probably going to come some time soon. I hope you're ready cause he's gotten stronger...we tried to weaken him but we can't do much against him." I looked at the guys when he finished then back at Kaden.
"Well they've been helping me train but...what if he... What if I can't do it?" I started looking down but I felt a flick on my forehead.
"You can do it, kiddo." He smiled reassuringly at me. I shooed his hand away.
"W-We're the same age!" I glared at him. Everyone looked a little shocked.
"You two are the same age?" Subaru asked. Kaden just laughed at me. He was much taller than me and looked a lot older.
"Y-Yes! You don't believe me?" I whined.
"Teddy doesn't believe you." Kanato said and I groaned. Kaden pet my head, teasing me about being really small, though he did confirm we were basically the same age.
"Leave me alone." I pushed him slightly when he teased me. He just grinned proudly.
"Well I have to go anyway. Remember, Jiro and I are rooting for you. I'm guessing they are too." He nodded towards the others before messing up my hair. "You got this, Yoshi."
I hugged him a last time, then watched as he walked into a shadow then was gone. We all just kinda stood there.
"Your cousin is hot." Yui blurted randomly. Everyone looked at her. I just started laughing; I had forgotten she'd never met him before.
"Don't make your boyfriend jealous." I said, looking at Ayato, who was making a face.
"A-Ayato is not my boyfriend!" Yui yelled, blushing. Laito raised an eyebrow, smirking.
"She never gave a name, bitch-chan~" He laughed and she blushed more, realizing what she said. She just groaned and started leaving, Ayato following her and asking questions.
I was laughing but then Laito turned the attention to me.
"Speaking of boyfriends, Yoshi-chan, don't you have something to show to Shu~?" I blushed and shot a glare at him, telling him to shut up. Then I grabbed Shu's hand, pulling him to the music room.
By now Laito showed me how to play basic songs and also one of my favorites. Once in the room, I made him sit next to me on the piano bench. I took my seat then looked at him.
"I could die in the next couple days, when my father comes," Great way to start that off, Yoshiko. "So I might as well do this now." I smiled at him before turning to the piano. I put my fingers on the keys and took a deep breath.

From the coma..." I stopped singing and finished it out still playing the piano. 
      When I was done, I sighed and stared down at the piano, avoiding Shu's eyes. I moved my hands into my lap, thinking about the song I sang. It was kind of an appreciation song for him, also the others, helping me through everything. I also just liked the song.
      When he hadn't said anything, i nervously started rambling.
      "You had asked me if I played...so Laito has been teaching me...I thought you would like it...I really like this song...also it's like a thank you for everything...I guess--" I felt a hand a hand on my cheek, and he made me look at him.
      I was blushing like crazy, so I closed my eyes tight, not wanting to know what he was going to say. But he didn't say anything. Instead I felt something soft on my lips. Oh, he's kissing me. Wait, holy shit! My eyes went wide but they soon fluttered to a close as I melted into the kiss.
      I slid my arms around his neck as his snaked around my waist. When I finally pulled away for air, I looked at him. There was barely a hint of pink on his cheeks, but mine were bright red.
      "Thank you." He gave me a big smile, like a huge genuine smile. For someone who didn't smile much, it fit him. I smiled back and nodded.
      "You're mine now, got it?" He said, a serious expression again. A 'yes' almost instantly shot out my mouth but then I blinked.
      "You can just can't claim someone like that, Shu." I said, looking at him like he was dumb.
      "I'm claiming you." "Okay." He chuckled at me, before standing.
      "Baka." He called me before disappearing. I giggled then started walking out. Why does he always just disappear? I whined in my head. I opened the door to leave but some jumped in my face. I yelped and punched them in the jaw.
      "Yoshi-chan~! You're too strong to keep punching me." Laito rubbed his face as he joked with me. I giggled and apologized then saw that Subaru, Kanato, Ayato, and Yui were also standing there.
      "So...what did he say?" Subaru asked shyly. Everyone looked at me, waiting for me to answer. But instead I hit Laito upside the head.
      "Why'd you tell everyone!?" I pouted, blushing slightly.
      "Teddy and I already knew." Kanato commented as everyone else said they forced it out of Laito.
      "Now, spill it!" Yui told me, over excited. I sighed and started walking past them.
      "He said thank you." Ayato urged me to go on, saying that 'Ore-sama demands to know the rest'.
      "Why don't you just ask him? He did it." I said, continuing to walk away.
      "Wait, he did what!?" Subaru yelled, as they followed me.
      "It wasn't bad." I sighed, "Just ask him, I'm going to lay down." I giggled as he groaned in annoyance.
      Laito called Shu's name and smirked at me as I went to my room. I sat on my bed and smiled to myself. I really hope I can do this. I would hate to leave them all. I doubt they need me that bad but...I sure need them.
