Still here? Yay. Enjoy.
"Go get it," Thor grunted as he threw the little twig in the direction of Alvin, his Bernese Mountain dog. Elated, Alvin ran after the stick, picking it up with his mouth and returning it to Thor.
"Good boy," Thor said running his hand through Alvin's triple colored soft coat. He looked around the mansion. There was people scattered, all apart of the tour. Ever since that night, he kept his eyes out for Amara. He looked down at his furry friend.
"Can't wait for you to meet her," Thor said. "She's a very special woman. If you're lucky, she'll have a friend you can meet."
Alvin barked, wagging his tail with excitement. Thor chuckled. "I hope she comes." He smiled as he recalled her visage that night. Her dark skin glowed more enchanting in the moonlight in his mind's eye. Her long hair sailed gently in the breeze. He closed his eyes as the memory of her calming voice told him the knowledge of earthing. Her opaline smile flashed sincerity and promise. He had told his father about her that night.
"You are the worst Prince Charming ever," his father said.
Thor chuckled. "I got lost in the moment. It was kind of surreal. She was like this nymph, this goddess who appeared from nowhere. She said she liked big houses. We give tours to the public daily. I figured she would."
"Of course, because this country doesn't have an abundance of stately homes." Siegmund placed a comforting hand on his son's shoulder. "But if she is as beautiful and exceptional as you describe, I have no doubt she will come."
Thor opened his eyes, coming out of his recall and back in the present. He looked back at Alvin.
"You hungry?"
Alvin barked a yes.
