"Release him!", bellowed Rassilon.

The heavily-armed guards turned off the ray-shield with a microchip on their arm-pieces. The first went in to extract the...thing...but quickly stoped and jumped out when he discovered that we was disintegrating, his body pixelating then disappearing. This was because space and time had become so deformed that when this type of...matter...interacted with the pre-War form, the deformed matter was not compatible with its predecessor. This converted the deformed matter into pure...nothingness.

"What is happening?", questioned the Chancellor anxiously, "Has it become too powerful?"

"Powerful, powerful, death, King!", confirmed the Visionary, scribbling "drawings" on her paper. The Visionary was a seer who could tell part of the future of what was to come, regardless of the Time lock.

"STOP THIS NONSENSE AT ONCE!", hollered Rassilon into the cage.

To his surprise, a mysterious, raspy voice responded," Raaaaasssssillllooonnnnnn, mmmyyy gooood fffrrriiiieeennnndddd, wwwwwhhhhhhhaaaaatttttt hhhhhaaaavvvvvveeeee yyyyyyyyoooooouuuuuuuu ddddddddoooooonnnnnnnneeeeee?"

"I SHALL HAVE MY REVENGE, RASSILON! YOU EXPELLED ME FROM YOUR UNIVERSE WHEN I SOUGHT TO BE YOUR ALLY IN THIS WAR YOU STARTED! YOU ERASED ME FROM TIME! YOU SENT ME TO HELL, COEXISTING WITH......", the thing trailed off, however its voice becoming clearer and clearer.

"No, no, this can't be happening! I thought your consciousness was dead?!", cried Rassilon,"I used the De-Mat Cannon on you!"

The De-mat Cannon was a single shot artillery piece that erased anything it touched from time itself, including the weapon itself, that's why it's single shot. It stood for Dematerialization Gun, located in the Omega Arsenal. Rassilon had mass-produced it. In normal circumstances, this would create dangerous paradoxes, perhaps even able to summon the Reapers, but now, Rassilon didn't care. It had similar abilities to its smaller counterpart, the De-mat gun.

A past incarnation of the Doctor holding a De-Mat Gun, the most dangerous hand-held weapon in the Galaxy. He once stopped an entire Sontaran Invasion with it.

"YOU WERE MISTAKEN! HAHAHAHAHA! YOU WILL LEARN TO BOW DOWN TO ME! I AM THE COULD'VE BEEN KING!", triumphantly replied the Could've Been King, and with that, he took a ghastly, humanoid form, and disappeared into the dimensions.

Getting his energy and confidence back,"NOOOOO! HOW?", cried Rassilon.

Soon after, the much feared Could've Been King terrorized both sides, legends claiming that he was actually a vengeful Omega from another time-less dimension. He wrecked havoc on both the Time Lords and the Daleks.

With his plan of victory defeated, he thought of an even more devious plan. He was going to resurrect...the Master.
