Soccer Game

So it was February.12th. Hey.. Valentine's Day was almost coming up. But wait.. Yeah that's right... I'm a single Pringle. Okay that sounded a little Cringey but ... You know what I mean. There was a soccer game going on. A bunch of students went to the stadium to watch it. I went. Me and Kass sat near the sidelines a couple Seats behind where the soccer players sat. I went with Kass because her boyfriend was on the team. 15 minutes into the game some soccer players subbed off. One of the players turned around.

"Hey I met you before in that math class the other day." He said. Then I noticed oh .. His name was Zac.

"Yeah your the one who needed his fucking textbook asap?" I said kinda mocking him when he used the f word.
He lightly laughed.

"Yeah yeah ... That's me. " Zac said then drank his Gatorade. He was kinda cute. His teammate turned around.

"Dude quit flirting and focus on the play board !" His teammate said.

"Wha- I'm not flirting .." Zac said then smiled at me then turned around. I think he liked me.

"Hey.. If our team wins against the other school ... Will you get a smoothie with me after ?" Zac asked. I didn't know what to say. But they were down by one. No way they would win.

"Uhh ... Alright then .." I replied. The game continued. 5 minutes later .. They tied. I didn't wanna get a smoothie wih him only because I felt like he seemed like the flirt to go out with every girl. He was pretty cute but .. Seemed like the girl version of a hoe haha. Then later .... At 1 minute left... They score and basically win . Everyone was cheering. Zac looked at me from the field and gave a flirty smirk. Shit! Ugh! I tried to leave fast but people were leaving so slow. The soccer players already went to get changed. I was still in the stadium trying to leave. 10 minutes later I'm out. I'm walking around campus to my dorm that is 15 minutes away. As I'm walking I hear someone yell
"Ms.landons wants to frikken marry donuts!" . I turned around and laughed . It was Zac . He was laughing as he said that. He walked to me.

"I think you owe me a smoothie date ." Zac said.

"Haha I ... I wasn't exactly serious when I agreed ...." I said.

"Okay then .... You don't have to go on the date ...... But you at least have to buy me a smoothie." Zac said. I rolled my eyes then smiled .

"Fine ..." I replied. We walked together through campus to the smoothie area. As we were walking... We talked a bit.

"By the way... What's your name?" Zac asked.

"Its Scarlett.." I said.

"That's cute ..." He replied.

"Cute? How is it cute? " I asked. He laughed.

"I like the name. That's all." Zac said as he smiled.
A girl walked by. I noticed Zac staring at her and he smiled at her. The girl smiled back.

"You should go on the smoothie date with her ." I said as we kept walking.
He laughed.

"Excuse me?" Zac asked. We stopped walking.

"You were checking her out. Take her on the smoothie date." I said.

"Hey...I'm a little confused .... You said you'd only buy me the smoothie because you didn't wanna go on the date with me... So why are you mad if I'm checking out another girl." Zac asked.
Shit .. He was right. I denied the date ... But now I'm getting mad if he's checking out someone else...? Makes no sense.

"...I'm not mad. You should go and talk to her that's all ." I said partly annoyed.

"Okay then .." Zac said. We continued walking to the smoothie parlour.

"So what do you want?" I asked.

"Hmm order a piña colada .." Zac said.

"One piña colada please.." I said. I payed. And handed it over to him.

"Enjoy the drink." I said then walked away.

"Hey... Thanks for the drink." Zac said.

"No problem ." I said with a fake smile. I left .
