Double date

So after class. I totally forgot about that stupid fair date I had to go on just so Mikayla could get a date. I got dressed. Me and Mikayla left together. So we Arrived at the fair.
We saw Lyle and Ashton sitting at a table just talking.

"Ahh there's Ashton!" Mikayla said.
We walked over to them.

"Oh hey !" Lyle said as he waved.

"Hey !" I sAid back.

"Hey!" Ashton said to Mikayla.

"Hi Ashton." She replied.

"Alright well, wanna go play some games here and try to win some prizes Scarlett?" Lyle asked me.

"Huh- oh yeah sure.." I replied.

"Rides or games first?" Ashton asked Mikayla.

"We can go on the rides first !" Mikayla said. They both left.

Me and Lyle first played the knock the tower game. It was kinda funny watching Lyle suck.

"I didn't get to stretch so that's why my aim is a little umm off -"Lyle said.

"Haha okay sure ." I sAid.

We played more games. Lyle finally won one game.

"Hey, I'm gonna go buy some snacks, you can find a spot to sit. " Lyle said.

I was walking.
"Hey! Scarlett!" Ashton said as he called me over.

"Oh hey where's Mikayla?" I asked.

"She said she wanted to get some snacks and I'm just waiting and reserving the table." Ashton said.

"Yeah lyles getting some stuff too." I sAid.

"Hey, you guys won a prize from the stupid knock down the tower game?" I sAid as I sat down looking at the prize.

"Yeah, it wasn't that hard haha!" Ashton said.

"Really? Cause Lyle only knocked down 4 out of 10." I sAid.

"It's probably cause he didn't stretch ." Ashton said joking.

"Yeah that's what he said aha." I sAid.

"Hey , so umm Mikayla asked me if I wanted to go to this dinner place on the weekend, and I was wondering if you wanted to come too." Ashton asked me.

"With Lyle?" I asked.

"Huh? - oh yeah .. you can come with Lyle." Ashton said.

"I don't know, I wasn't planning on going out with Lyle again." I sAid.

"Really?! I mean , why?" Ashton asked.

"Oh well, I only came on this double date because Mikayla wanted to go on this date with you so she asked me to ask you guys on a double date and for me to just go with your friend to break the ice." I sAid.

"Oh. Okay."Ashton replied.

"Yeah, she really likes you so it'll probably be better if people don't tag along on your dinner date with her." I sAid.

"Right ." Ashton said.

"She's super cool. Trust me. You'll like her a lot when you two talk more at the dinner." I sAid.

"Well I'm gonna go find Lyle." I sAid.

I left . Lyle was still in line. After a couple hours we all headed back to campus.

I got back to my room .

"Hey,how was that date." Kass asked me.

"It was fine but I'm not going again." I sAid.

"Haha what ? Why ?" Kass asked.

"CAuse now that Ashton knows mikayla, I don't have to be apart of any more double dates to break the ice." I sAid.

"You don't like Lyle? He's pretty cool." Kass sAid.

"..yeah I guess but I'm not with it at the moment . " I said.

"So are Mikayla and Ashton going on another date anytime soon?" Kass asked.

"Yeah, to some restaurant. Ashton asked me if I wanted to go to but I just said no." I sAid as I took my necklace off.

"He wanted you to come too?" Kass asked me. I nodded.

"Maybe he actually likes you ." Kass sAid.

"Haha what? No he doesn't. He was inviting me and Lyle to come join along." I sAid.

"... you sure he mentioned lyles name too?" Kass asked as she laughed.

".. well yeah I asked if we was asking me and Lyle to join and he said yeah .. see ! He doesn't like me. You're making this more than what it is! Stop tryna be messy " I sAid.

"Haha okay!" Kass sAid.
