Why bring up Reece ???

The next and shall I saw the last day I would be able to talk to Jackson was today. So again I went in a bit later so I could act like there were no other seats to sit at. As I walked in I didn't see Jackson. Ugh . So I just found a random seat. Then all of a sudden someone sat next to me.
It was Jackson.

I looked a head and noticed that bitch was sitting somewhere else. the seats were all taken.

"Hey, Scarlett right?" Jackson asked me. Oh wow ... him speaking to me first.

"Yeah . Jackson right ?" I asked.

"Yeah haha." He replied.

Class passed by.

"Hey so umm Scarlett. I don't know if you're busy tonight but i was wondering if you wanted to catch a movie or something .. it's totally fine if you don't want to -" Jackson said.

"No- I'd love to! I'm not doing anything tonight." I sAid.

"Oh cool then. " Jackson said then smiled. We got dismissed.

"Hey I'm gonna get something from my locker ." Jackson said.

"Sure I'll just wait by the door then we can leave the building ." I sAid.

I was standing near the door. Then I randomly saw Reece.

"Oh hey." Reece said.

"Oh Reece- what's up?" I asked.

"Not much I'm good. How are you. " Reece asked.

"I'm good. I'm actually going to catch a movie with someone." I sAid.

"Oh that's cool. Hope you have a good time." Reece said then left.

I turned around and I noted that bitch just finished talking to Jackson.

Jackson walked to me.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Hey um I'm sorry but I think I might have to cancel on this." Jackson said.

"Huh? Why?..." I asked in confusion. I had a feeling that bitch had something to Do with this.

"It's just that... I noticed you speaking to Reece a few minutes ago .... and someone told me he was your ex..... " Jackson said.

"Yeah he's my ex . Him and I aren't together........" I sAid.

"Haha yeah but I get the feeling you still like him . " Jackson said.

"What? No ! Not at all. Well I mean I don't completely have no feelings for him- you know what I mean. But he has a girlfriend. I don't want to be with him." I sAid.

"Look I don't want to be a complete asshole by blowing you off. But judging by what people have told me. Seems like you're having a little trouble in relationships... I don't know if I can involve myself in that. I'm sorry ." Jackson said and walked away.

WHAT THE FAKKKKKKKKKKK. This has GOT TO BE THE MOST EMBARRASSINGEST SHIT THAT EVER HAPPENED TO me. Is embarrassingest even a word ???? Probably not. I noticed guys would always mention Reece. He's old news !!! Time to cry in a hole again.
