Dinner

Ugh... I didn't actually wanna go on the double date but I couldn't just back out since I said 'hey maybe we should' ! I had to call Reece and ask him to ask Mason. Campus had nice restaurants but... Reece being the rich boujee guy .. He said we should all go to this one out of campus. What was I even getting myself into? Going on a double date with my ex and his girlfriend. To be quite honest I didn't even like mason.hes nice and good looking but I don't exactly have feelings towards him since I barley know him. But.... I had to give it a shot. Mason got a driver for us. We met up with Melanie and Reece.

"Hey guys.." Mason said as we sat down. Me and Melanie were beside eachother and across from us were our dates .

"So ... Why'd you guys come so late?" Reece asked.

"We couldn't exactly call our personal driver to come that quick likes yours." I Said.

Reece smiled.

"Okay then..." Reece replied. We ordered our food.

"Hey.. I still never heard the full story on how you guys know eachother." Mason said.
I took a sip of my drink trying to not speak.

"How me and Melanie met?.." Reece asked.

"Okay yeah .. And also Scarlett." Mason said.

"Umm yeah I met Melanie after my phys Ed class cause hers was in the gym next down. And we would sorta just casually talk and yeah... " Reece said.
I was looking away from Reece.
"Dude that's kinda cute." Mason said. We all started eating.

"What about you and Scarlett?" Mason asked.

"Umm haha ... Kinda a weird story." Reece said as he played around wih his food.

"Where's the story?" Melanie said.

"Umm okay .. So I got punished for something dumb and had to clean the soccer teams jerseys after class on Tuesday's and Fridays or something like that.." I said.

"Yeah and .. Haha I remember walking in the laundry room and just seeing this girl wash the jerseys and was like hey .. So someone actually cleans them now.." Reece said.

"Yeah and Umm She was always there and we'd have these super weird conversations sometimes right Scarlett." Reece said.

"Yeah I do.." I replied. It kinda got quiet.

"Babe, Melanie .. I forgot . You look super beautiful tonight." Reece said.

"Thank you Reece !" Melanie said. I rolled my eyes. He was trying to seem like he was the perfectest date.

"Mason already told me how great I looked ... Before we got here.." I said as I sipped my drink.

"That's true .." Mason said.

We got to dessert.
The waiter brought a tray with our desserts and left.

Reece passed them out.

"And you ordered the Pecan Mini pie right ?" Reece asked as he smiled to me.

"Yeah . Thanks " I replied. I was kinda surprised that he even remembered that about me.

"Can you pass me my cake now , Reece babe!"" Melanie said.

"Yeah !" Reece replied. We began eating our last course of the dinner.
