Tension between teams

I sat back at our table in one of the corners. Zac sat down.
I was looking around the room. We were all tense of eachother. Even though Melanie and Reece were dating .. They seemed annoyed at eachother as well as Mason being his friend they were still being competitive.

Zac and Caroline walked in. Caroline walked with Zac to my table.

"Ugh now I have to work with annoying Darrell." Caroline said.

"Hey Caroline just shut the fuck up. He probably doesn't even wanna be your partner either." I said. Caroline was just so annoying.

"Excuse me? Zac babe tell this idiot she's a bitch and that she knows nothing !" Caroline said.

I looked at Zac.
He looked at me then Caroline. He didn't know what to say.

"Are you gonna defend me! !!?" Caroline said to zac.

"Caroline I-" Zac said. Caroline raised her brow .

"Okay so now you're not gonna even defend me? Okay then!" Caroline said then walked to her table. Zac looked stressed.
"Should of called me a Bitch." I said.

"Look I'm not just gonna call you a bitch..."
So at this moment we were supposed to colour our design more.

Zac went up to sharpen his pencil or something. I was watching. Mason got up as well and was behind Zac.

"Dude ... You've been sharpening this for 2 minutes ... " Mason said to Zac. Ugh.. I was hoping nothing would escalate. Zac laughed. I got up and went to see the "issue".

"Everything alright ...?" I asked Zac and Mason.

"Yeah .. Everything's great." Mason said.
Kinda quick. Zac looked annoyed at Mason.
The timer went off.

"Alright I'll see you guys tomorrow! You can leave ." The supervising guy said.

We all went to our tables and packed up. Caroline was giving Zac these mad looks.

I left. Me and Kass were walking together back to our dorm.

"I feel so bad Darrell has to be stuck with Caroline. She's a pain in the ass." Kass said.

"Every half hour she comes to my table just to see Zac." I said. We finally got to our dorm and took a nap to rest off the long day.
