Chapter 10

Chapter 10-

Ella curled my hair because she insisted on coming over and helping me get ready for the date with Ashton. I could've just got ready by myself but according to her I won't bring out my 'inner beauty', ha I don't think there's anything beautiful about me, no matter how hard you try to find it, you'll find nothing.

"So what are you going to wear?" Ella asked. "I haven't thought of anything yet." I said as she moved my head so that she could curl the other side of my hair.

"If I were you I would've had my outfit ready the minute he left!" She said. Me and Ella have gotten really close over the last week.

"I know, I know but I can't think of what to wear cause he just said to dress casual." I said. I know that it should be easy to find something to wear that's considered casual but I'm not sure what Ashton's casual is!

"I'll look and you can keep curling!" She said excitedly as she ran over to my wardrobe. I finished curling my light brown hair which usually went down to my hips but because I curled it my hair when to around my ribs.

"I have the best outfit for you!" She squealed from my wardrobe. I walked over to her and saw that on my bed she had laid out my outfit.

On my bed laid a denim jacket, a plain white shirt and a black skirt. "Thanks but it's not me." I said as I tried to put the clothes back into my wardrobe but Ella stopped me.

"No! You're wearing my outfit and that's final!" She said. "Fine, fine but never again." I comfirmed. "It was hard finding something casual that wasn't a band top you know!" She said.

Yeah I think 99% of my clothes are music related. I just shook my head and walked back into my bathroom to get changed. Once I got changed I walked back into my room to see Ella standing there smiling at me while holding up plain black converses.

I put them on then checked myself in the mirror, I actually looked partially human? "You look really cute!" Ella said as she sprayed perfume all over me. I just smiled at her.

 I heard the doorbell go off. "I'll be waiting here with Milo until you come home so you can tell me all about it!" She said as she pushed me down the stairs. "Cya!" I said as I waved her goodbye. I walked up to my front door and opened it up to Ashton who was wearing a maroon t-shirt & black skinny jeans.

"You look pretty." Ashton said as he smiled at me. "Thanks' I said quietly as I tried to hide the blush on my face. "Let's go!" He said as he walked me to his car.

We hopped in and he drove out of my driveway and started driving. "So where will you be taking me to Mr Irwin?" I asked.

"Well there's a place I wanted to take you to but it was all booked out so I'll take you somewhere else." He said as he continued driving the car. "Where will that be?" I asked. I could see a smirk form on his face. "It's a surprise" He said as he tried to hold in his laughter.

Like I didn't see that coming... "That's very cliché don't you think?" I asked, trying to get him to tell me where we were going. "Yep." he said as he let out a bit of a laugh.

We finally got to the surprise place and it was this really big park with a little pond next to it. "I know it's not that great but my mum always used to take me here when I was younger and it's really fun! Trust me!" He said smiling.

 "I'll race you to the swings!" He shouted as he ran towards the swing set. I ran to tried and catch up with him but about halfway there I gave up and walked the rest of the way. Once I got to the swings I sat on the  right side of Ash.

"I won." he said while he stuck his tongue out at me. "You had an advantage!" I said, trying to make it fair. "Whatever you say." He said with a wink.

He then got off his swing and came behind mine. He started pushing me higher and higher into the slightly starry sky above us.

I closed my eyes and spread my arms out, imagining that I could fly. I always used to do that as a kid. "You do that too?!" I heard a shocked Ashton ask.

"Yeah! It's really fun" I said smiling at him. He stopped pushing me and hopped onto his own swing. Once he got higher into the sky he started pretending that he could fly. He had his arms spread out wide and his eyes closed, just like I did.

After about 5 minutes of being birds we decided that we should go grab some food. Apparently Ashton is terrible at dates and he forgot about what we were going to have for food so we just walked around searching for some.

"Do you like McDonalds?" Ashton asked as he pointed to one that was across the road. "Who doesn't?" I rhetorically asked. We walked inside and to the counter. "What would you's like?" An old lady at the counter asked.

"I'll get a large 10 nugget meal please" Ashton said to the lady at the counter. The lady and Ashton both looked at me, I think they were wondering what food I want. Well I ate heaps before so I'll just get something little. I'm not that hungry anyway.

"I'll just have a 6 nugget happy meal please" I said to the lady. "That'll be $11.85 The lady said to us. I got out my money to pay but Ashton refused, he said that it's no problem.

Once we received our food we sat down at one of the tables. "Why did you only get a happy meal?" Ashton asked. "I'm not very hungry, Ella made nachos before and I couldn't say no!" I admitted. He just laughed and shook his head. For the rest of the meal we just talked about family, friends and music.

Once we finished Ashton drove me home. "Thanks for tonight, it was really fun" I said smiling at him. "Next time will be better! I was prepared to go to somewhere waaaaay more fun but at the last minute they called me up and said that we couldn't go anymore, sorry." He said.

"It's fine! Tonight was great, thankyou" I said to him. It really is fine, tonight was fun. "Goodnight Rosie" He said as he waved goodbye, walking back to his car. "Night Ash" I replied.

I didn't reach my goal last update but because I updated like a week late last update I decided I would just update today cause you's are fab :')

So I GOT 5SOS TICKETS AND IM GOING TO BE 12 ROWS AWAY FROM THE STAGE LIKE OMG I SEE THEM IN 37 DAYS!!!!
