Chapter 28-

[Luke]

Once she fell asleep in my arms I laid her down onto the couch and put a blanket on her. She didn’t tell me much; all that she said was that Ashton cheated on her.

I knew he cheated on her before because I caught him, I told him that if he ever did again I would bash the living shit out of him; and that’s what I plan to do. I never told Rose because I didn’t want her to get hurt, she was too happy.

I kissed her forehead before walking out of her house and to Ashtons, I didn’t care that it was 4 in the morning, he broke her heart and I’m prepared to break his neck.

I banged on his door waiting for an answer but no one did, I banged on the door again and Ashtons mum opened up the door. “What are you doing here? Its 4am.” She said, she seemed annoyed.

 “I’m sorry for waking you, is Ashton home?” I asked. “No, his at a friend’s, come back tomorrow love.” She said as she closed the door.

I instantly knew where he would be- Teagan’s house. I caught him with her last time, but it didn’t bother me, it was more the fact that I knew that Rose would be hurt.

Teagan cheating on me didn’t bother me, I never liked her anyways. I used her to try and make Rose jealous; which obviously didn’t work.

I continued walking for another half an hour until I reached her house. I knew that her parents were away on holidays so I didn’t feel rude about waking anyone up.

I knocked on the door until someone opened up. “Hey Luke, are you okay?” She asked as she stood there with a baggy shirt and no pants on; obviously Ashtons.

“Is Ashton here?” I asked, trying to stay calm and not rage out at her. “Why would he be?” She said with a nervous laugh. “Maybe because his your little fuck buddy?” I questioned as I pushed past her and walked to her room, I knew Ashton would be there, I was hoping he wasn’t naked.

I opened the door and he was laying there asleep, thankfully he had boxers on. “Get the fuck up.” I said as I whacked him hard on his shoulder. “What?” He asked as he sat up, still half asleep.

“You said you wouldn’t cheat on her again.” I said through gritted teeth. “I didn’t. She just jumped to conclusions. By the way why are you here it’s early as man.” He said as he rubbed his eyes.

“I don’t care what time it is you better explain why the fuck you cheated on Rose.” I said as I waited for his reply

“So you don’t care that I fucked your girlfriend you just care about Rose?” He asked with a laugh. “Yeah basically, I don’t care about that whore, I only care about Rose.” I said which was completely true.

“You’re the only one.” He said as he laughed at himself. “What’s happened to you? We used to be friends, now you have turned into a real dick.” I said.

“What happened to you? Have you finally realised that your Mum is dead?” He asked.

I couldn’t take him anymore I threw my right fist into his cheek over and over again, ignoring Teagan’s pleads to stop.

Once I was sure that he was hurt enough I stopped and walked out, going to the only place where I felt safe.
