Chapter 1:Science Class

"What did you get as your first hour Jackie? " Ethel asked her friend as she was still scanning her schedule.

"First hour Science with Mr. Murphey. " Jackie answered.

"So did I! What about second hour? "

"Here just look at my schedule. " Jackie handed Ethel a list of her classes and what hours she had them.

First Hour: Science with Mr. Murphey room 110

Second Hour: Math with Mrs. Johnson room 113

Third Hour: English with Mr. Northrupt room 111

Fourth hour: History with Mrs. Moore room 112

Lunch... ... ... ... ...

Fifth Hour: History of Art with Mrs. Buyes room 424

Sixth Hour: Choice Reading with Mrs. Moore room 112

Seventh Hour: Gym with Mr. Mayer room 502

"We have First, Second, Fourth and Seventh hour together. " Ethel showed her schedule was the same but some hours had different teachers.

"That's still four classes we have together though! " Jackie said looking on the bright side.

"Plus we have Lunch. Hey Jackie can you help me find Bobby? " Bobby was Ethels boyfriend since grade 8.

"Sure but if he tries to set me up with his brother again I'm leaving. " Jackie warned.

"I'll make sure he won't. " Jackie nodded her head and they went in search of Bobby.

"I think I see him! Over by the water fountain near the gym! " Jackie pointed out. Ethel and Jackie ran through people and reached Bobby just before he left.

"Bobby! " Ethel ran and gave him a hug. This was 11th grade and they were still together.

"Hi Ethie! I was coming to look for you. "Bobby said returning the hug.

"Hi Bobby. " Jackie said walking up behind the couple.

"Hey Jackie. " Bobby and Jackie did a quick high five

"We should get going the bell is about to ring soon. " Ethel pointed out.

"Your right. So girls what is your first period? " Bobby asked as the began to walk.

"Science with Mr. Murphey room 110." Jackie chimmed in.

"Same here! Did you here that the 11th graders and the 12th are gonna have a combined class with him this year? Well at least first hour will. " Bobby added.

"That's gonna be a big class. " Ethel said.

Mr. Murphey's Class

"Welcome back to school! I am Mr. Murphey and I will be your teacher this year. Since we have a class of two different grades I am going to allow you to choose your own seat. " Mr. Murphey stated.

Jackie sat next to Ethel and Bobby sat across from Ethel. Across from Jackie there was an empty seat which was just fine with her.

"JACK! JACK! OVER HERE! " Bobby yelled waving his arms around causing people to stare.

Jack Kennedy Bobby's older brother walked over and took the seat across of Jackie making her sigh due to being annoyed.

"Hey Bobby, hey Ethel. " Jack smiled and looked over at Jackie. "Hi I'm Jack Kennedy and who are you. "

"Jacqueline Lee Bouvier. "

"Well Jacqueline how about me and you go to the movies some time? "

"Did I forget to tell you?I'm also not interested. "

"All in good time you'll be. " Jack winked at Jackie causing her to roll her eyes.
