Jack went over to the table also. For some reason he felt jealous even though he knew Joe had a girlfriend. But then again that never stopped him before.
Rose brought the food out on platters displaying them out on the table. Everyone gathered hands and said a prayer and began to dig in. Jack ended up sitting at the opposite end of the table from Jackie and Joe Jr.
"Watcha looking at Jack?" Bobby asked his brother who was looking over at Jackie and Joe trying to figure out what they were saying.
"Just how nice all the good looks that's all " Jack replied and he began earing his food.
Before long it was 7:30 p.m and most of the guests were starting to leave the Kennedy home.
"Thank you for having me it was very nice to meet you all and dinner was very lovely." Jackie said as she was walking to the door.
"It was very nice to have you thank you for coming dear." Joe Sr. answered.
"Here let me walk you out." Jack said grabbing her coat for her.
The night was dark and the air was cold. Stars and the moon lit up the sky. It was almost mid December but not a single spot of snow appeared on the ground or in the sky.
"I hope you had a good time." Jack smiled.
"I did." Jackie answered back. Jack took a small step closer to her. It was now or never.
Jack leaned in and kissed her. Just then the first snow began to fall there in Boston.
Jack and Jackie both looked up and smiled.
"I should get home." Jackie smiled
"I can take you ya know." Jack answered.
"I would really enjoy that." Jackie replied. As they walked to Jacks car Jackie took his hand.
