Chapter 31

It was the day of the trip and everyone had to be up early to catch the the bus at 5:30 a.m

"C'mon Bobby let's go let's go let's go!" Jack said shaking his brother awake.

"5 more minutes." Bobby groaned.

"There's no time we both have to shower. And finish packing." Jack said pointing to the open and half filled suitcases.

"Just 5 minutes." Bobby pleaded.

"The faster we get to the bus you can just sleep there."

Bobby groaned and got out of bed.

"So I take it your taking a shower first." Jack laughed.

"Yeah yeah." Bobby said grabbing some clothes and walking to the bathroom.

Jackies house

Jackie hummed to herself as she finished adding a pair of pajamas to her suitcase. She slid the zipper around to the end securing all of the suitcases contents.

She would be gone from her busy Auchincloss home. Her mother just had another baby and everything was complete chaos. Jackie was dying to have a week long vacation along the east coast with her friends. Having these moments to herself would be the quietest it's been in her life in awhile.

She and Ethel were going to room together in the hotels. No girl and guy duo was aloud only boys with boys and girls with girls which made sense to her. It's not like she was gonna room with a guy anyhow.

A/N: I got this idea of the east coast trip from the experience I had in the 8th grade when I was in the middle school going into high school. The school put together an east coast trip every year for the 8th grade and it was the day after school ended that the trip started. My first week of summer was great that year and I wouldn't change it for the world. Ok I'm done:)
