Chapter 10

"You look wonderful Jackie." Jack complimented.

"You don't look to bad tour self." Jackie quipped causing Bobby to snicker which caused Jack to lightly punch Bobby in the arm.

The dance

When they arrived "I've heard that song before." By Harry James and Helen Forrest was playing.

"Care to dance?" Jack and Bobby asked their dates considering the song was just starting. Both Ethel and Jackie took their dates hand and they danced through the song.  

"Jack im sure our beautiful dates are thirsty we should go get them some punch!" Bobby said taking his older brother by the arm and practically dragged him tue the punch bowl.

"Any movesmade yet?" Bobby asked.

"Not one. But we're getting there. I just really want her to like me Bobby. Have you ever had the feeling of when you like someone so much and they don't like you back?"

"Yes when I first asked out Ethie. She didn't know if I was 'the one'" Bobby laughed.Jack looked back over to Jackie and Ethel and sighed. Bobby handed him two glasses of punch and they walked back to the table.

After a while of chatting one of Jacks friends came and pulled him off somewhere.

When Jack came back he whispered something to Bobby. At first Bobby looked confused but got up and went anyway.

"Bobby has been gone for a long time where did he need to go Jack I'm going to try and find him." Ethel said staying up from her seat.

"He should be on the hall near the janitors closet." Jack answered and quickly retured to his conversation with Jackie.

Ethel went out on the hall and to the janitors closet only to see Bobby kiss another girl.
