Mr. Murpheys Science Class
It was December 19th the last day of school until a three week break. Jackie walked in and took her normal seat by Bobby, Ethel, and Jack.
"Hey Jackie." Ethel greeted.
"Hey Ethie hey Bobby." Jackie greeted them back. The seat where Jack normally sat was empty. Jackie assumed Jack was on his way and sure enough he walked in a short amount of time later.
"Jackie when class is over I got you something I wanted to give you just in case I don't see you over break." Jack whispered.
"You didn't have to." Jackie said back.
"But I wanted to so stop by my locker when class ends."
The bell rang and Jackie followed Jack back to his locker. He pulled out a plain, narrow brown box and handed it to her.
"Open it." Jack said.
Jackie did as told and inside was a gold bracelet with the name "Jacqueline" written in cursive in the middle.
"It's beautiful thank you" Jackie said as Jack helped her put the bracelet on.
"I had the name custom put on there." He beamed.
"Well I can't thank you enough. I feel like I should get you something now."
"No just knowing you like what I got you is enough."
"Are you sure Jack?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm sure." Jack replied. Jackie smiled then thanked him one last time and went to her locker to get her materials for her next class.
