Chapter 12

Jack sat back down next to his brother.

"What will we tell mom?" Jack laughed.

"That's not really my main concern right now."

"Let's just go home." Jack said getting up and walking out the door with his brother following close behind.

Jackie's House

"Thank's mom." Ethel said taking her outfit and pajamas.

"Your welcome, do you need me to pick you up or will you be dropped off?"

"I will be dropped off."

"Okay have fun Ethie and tell Jackie and her mother I say hello. Alright bye Ethie love you."

"Bye mom love you too and don't worry I'll them." Ethel walked inside and sat down next to Jackie who was watching television.

"Odd how a small box can be so entertaining." Jackie said never taking eyes off the t.v.

Ethel chuckled and agreed. As Ethel was about to say something when Jackie's brother came barreling in interrupting Ethel.

"Let's just hang out in my room okay?" Jackie said pushing her younger brother off of her.

Ethel shook her head and before Jackie shut the door she called down saying they were going to bed. Jackie shut the door and turned off the light.

"Why did you shut off the light?" Ethel asked.

"Because I said we were going to bed and they won't believe we went to bed with the light on." Jackie whispered. Then Jackie opened her closet and pulled out two flashlights.

"You really thought this through!" Ethel started laughing.

"Remember when we tried to climb out of my window using a bed sheet and pillow cases!" Jackie started laughing.

"Yes and when my hand slipped I knocked not of us down and we lost your dad's flashlight!" They started laughing and Jackie held her hand to her lip to signal to be quiet.

Ethel heard children footsteps and someone open the door.

"You guys can turn on your lights now the kids have went to bed." Jackie's brother Yusha said.

"Thanks Yusha." Jackie and Ethel said. Jackie stood up and turned on a lamp on her bed stand and sat back down.
