Nothing had changed about him, nothing. He smelled the same, he looked the same, even his hug was the same except it felt much better since I hadn't felt it in a while. I didn't want to let go of him. I couldn't believe he was here.
He was wearing the white v-neck that I loved soooo much on him. "Oh my God." was all I managed to get out after the 2 minutes of silence. He pulled back, keeping his hands on my shoulders. "I missed you." He said, pulling me in for another hug.
Soon, our parents were upstairs. "Surprise!" They said. "Did you know anything about this?" I asked Dylan. He grinned. "You twat." I hugged him tighter.
After catching up more than ever, people really did start coming in. Peyton Sanders, one of Dylan's bestfriends, came in. I had met him three times and we talked a little before, but we weren't really good good friends. Peyton gave Dylan a bro hug and then I gave him a side hug.
Layla came in and I gave her a hug. "Dylan, this is Layla. Layla, this is Dylan." "I've heard LOTS about you." Layla said with a grin. Dylan laughed and shook her hand.
Me, Dylan, and Layla sat on the couch while more and more people came. I only recognized a few people from our neighborhood. Peyton came over and sat next to Dylan. "Hey bro." He said. Layla was already eyeballing Peyton. I looked at her and laughed. "What?" She whispered. "He's cute."
"Hey Pey, this is my friend, Layla." I said. Peyton smiled at her and stuck out his hand. "Nice to meet you."

We ended up being the only ones left. Just Dylan, Peyton, Layla, and I. We were sitting by the firepit. "I really should be going." Layla said. "I'll walk you home." Peyton offered, standing next to Layla. Layla smile and nodded. "Be back in a few." Peyton said. "Bye Layla!" I called. She smiled. "By Bree!"
That left me and Dylan alone, which wasn't awkward. "So where's your hotel?" "It's like a mile away from here." I smiled. "Okay."
He put his hand in mine. "I missed you." I looked at him. "I missed you too." I put my head on his shoulder, but before I knew it, he had my chin lifted up and his lips were on mine.
