We got to my house and I invited Dylan in. I wanted to spend as much time with him as I could before he left tomorrow. We went upstairs and I sat on my bed. Dylan stood in front of me and grabbed my hands. "I miss you already." He said, swinging our arms in and out.
"It's getting late." Dylan said with a frown. I frowned back. I really wanted him to stay over tonight. "If you want, you can stay over. Only if you want to and you have your stuff packed." "I do have my stuff packed. I'll need to ask mama." He replied, sliding his phone out of his pocket. "Alright, I'll go ask my mom."
I was praying that both of them would say yes. I was gonna miss him so much when he left, I don't think anyone understood. I wouldn't have anyone. I mean, I'll have Layla, but boywise, nothing.
I got downstairs and of course, mom was doing her late night cleaning. She came over to give me a hug. "Hi sweetie." She said. "Hi, mom." She finally pulled back. "Whatcha need?" "Well, I have a question. Can Dylan stay over since he leaves tomorrow?" "I guess, sweetheart." "Thanks mom." "No problem." She kissed my cheek and I went back upstairs.
"What'd your mom say?" I asked Dylan, who was sitting on the bed. "She said yes." "Yay!" I said quietly. I ran over and jumped on top of Dylan and kissed him playfully. "I love you." I said. "I love you too, baby." He said, kissing me. I got off of him and I was about to grab some pajamas for myself.
"Wait, what are you gonna sleep in?" I asked, putting on a 'uh oh' face. "I have some basketball shorts in the car, I'll go grab them." Dylan said, kissing my cheek and going out the door.
I grabbed a pair of Soffe shorts and a t-shirt and went into the bathroom, just in case he came through the door. I changed, threw my hair up, and washed off my makeup. I went back out and sat on my bed, waiting for Dylan to come up. I took out my phone and tweeted 'Last night with Deezy. Ugh, I'm gonna miss him<3'
I waited for about five more minutes and Dylan still wasn't up. I went over to my window and looked down at his car. He was sitting on the back, his head in his hands. I slipped on my flipflops and walked downstairs. I went through the door quietly and shut it then walked over to Dylan's car. "Hey babe, what's wrong?" I asked, getting closer to him.
He removed his hands from his face, but he wasn't crying. He just looked up at me. I got on the back of the car with him. "Why do I have to leave?" He asked, finally saying something. "Because Ohio's your home." "It doesn't feel like it. Nashville is, it really is. Or that's what it seems like. I just love it here and I love you and I don't wanna leave either of you."
I held Dylan's hand and brought it to my lap. I looked down at our hands and I just stared, I was silent. "It's gonna be hard. But like you said, we could make it through this. I'm sure you're right." "I hope I am. We have to make this work. I don't want this to hurt you, that would kill me to know that I'm hurting you." I just shook my head. "I'll be fine."
After a few minutes of sitting on the back of the car, we went back inside. I turned around and he slipped on his shorts and took off his shirt. I turned back around. "You know, I'm not even tired." He said, grabbing my laptop. He pulled up the camera. "I wanna take pictures." Dylan said, smiling big. I laughed and we both got in the middle of the bed.
We smiled, made scary faces, cute faces, funny faces, we even kissed a few times. He kissed my cheek and took one and then I did the same for him. We were so caught up in taking cute pictures that we didn't even care what time it was. "What do you wanna do now?" Dylan asked, looking around the room. "Hmm, I don't know, maybe a pillow fight." I suggested, hitting Dylan in the head with a pillow.
I jumped off the bed and took half of the pillows. I put them in the floor and grabbed one. Dylan did the same as me and then he was about to throw his, but I ducked down. He didn't throw it, so I came up a little to peek. Dylan threw it at me.
We kept throwing pillows at each other and laughing, we were having so much fun. Finally after we calmed down a bit, I was starving. "I'm so hungry." I ran to my door and Dylan chased me. We got into the kitchen. We put some pizza rolls on a pan and slid them into the oven.
When I was turned around, Dylan ran up behind me and poked my side. I screamed and then covered my mouth. I totally forgot that my parents were asleep. I looked at the time and it was four in the morning. Me and Dylan were silently laughing.
The pizza rolls were done so I put them on a plate and we went upstairs. After eating every single on of them, me and Dylan both started to feel a bit drowsy. We both agreed on going to sleep so we both climbed into bed. He wrapped his arms around me and I got closer to him. I closed my eyes and eventually went to sleep, knowing this was the last time I would get to sleep in his arms for a while.
