When we got to Layla's house, we instantly went upstairs. We actually had a few classes together this year, thank God. "So, what was all that with you and Cole?" She asked curiously as she played on her phone. "To be honest, I don't really know what happened. I've never really talked to him before and he just randomly comes up to me asking me if I want a ride."

We talked about the subject for a bit until we finally ended up talking about something else. We went downstairs and got food because we were normal teenagers with no lives and wanted food. My phone did it's usual text tone and I looked.

Hey baby, hope you had a good first day ! I love you <3 skype tonight, late if that's okay!

I smiled and replied 'Thanks, it was okay (: I love you too and yes, that's fine <33' It came around 7 o'clock so I decided to head back over to my house. Once I got the my mom and dad were sitting in the kitchen, talking but got quiet once I walked in. "Hey guys, what's up?" I asked, getting a bottle of water from the fridge. I took the liquid and brought it to my lips. "We need to have a talk." My mom said.

I kind of got nervous that I was in trouble, not that I had did anything wrong, but still. I sat down at the chair right across from my mom. "Yes?" I asked, hoping this was good news. I saw that my dad had paperwork spread out in front of him, it was probably something about my dad having to work later hours and we wouldn't be seeing him as much, or just something like that.

"We might be moving." At first, I had to be real about this. We were moving back to Ohio, right? I'd hope. "Oh my gosh, where?" I asked. "Florida." The smile instantly escaped my face. "F-Florida?" I asked. "Yeah, it's for a job. I'm kind of getting tired of old Nashville, I'm in the mood to move." "If you want to move, why don't we move back to Ohio?"

I had just raised my voice a bit and that never made my dad happy. "It's Ohio. What's there to love about Ohio?" "A lot! That's where I was born and raised. It's where I met my boyfriend." I said. "Florida isn't where I want to live." I said, once more, standing up. "I'm just now getting used to this place, finally, and then you want to screw it up with your selfishness." Me and my dad were never close, we tended to get in fights a lot when he's around.

He stood up along with me. "I'm being selfish? You act like the world revolves around you, ever since you started dating Dylan." "Nothing's changed! We're still the same!" "You're not the same." "How would you know? You've never fully been here to watch me grow up. It's always been about your jobs and moving. If you're not happy, nobody's happy, right?" The back of my eyeballs stung, indicating that I was about to cry.

"What has gotten into you?" My dad asked in a stern voice. "Nothing, and if you were around more, you'd know that I'm the same exact person as I was before. I just wanna go home." "You've been here for months now, this is home. But me and your mother are considering Florida." I looked over at mom, she was just looking down. My mom never liked seeing me upset, ever. She knew I was right, she was just afraid to say anything.

"Go to your room." My father said, his voice getting louder. "Gladly." I said, faking a smirk. I walked over to the stairs and finally the tears started to fall from my eyes. How could he be so selfish? Everything was always about him or his job. He didn't care about what other thought. I was so tired of this. I laid down on my bed, tears falling like a waterfall down my face. My phone lit up and I grabbed it.
