The next morning, Dylan took me to my house so I could get ready. After a quick shower, a change of clothes, and fixing my hair and make up, I went back downstairs. Dylan eventually came when he finished getting ready.
"I really wanna spend today with you, just me and you. But tonight, Layla and Peyton are gonna come to the movies with us." Dylan said, taking my hand and leading me out the door. He opened the door for me and I got in.
We pulled up at Starbuck's. We walked hand in hand up to the door, which he opened for me. We went inside and ordered. Dylan refused to let me buy mine. We sat down, talked, laughed, just like we usually did.
The whole day we just hung out, like usual. We went to the park and walked around, we went to the mall, we went out for lunch, just a normal day. Later on, we met up with Peyton and Layla and we went to CiCi's pizza to eat.
After eating, we went to the movies. We got four tickets, got popcorn, and drinks. Of course, the boys wouldn't let us pay for any of it, which we didn't was fair. Me and Layla sat in the middle of Peyton and Dylan. The movie went on, which we didn't really pay attention. We were probably the most hated people in that room at that moment.
We kept laughing obnoxiously at stuff that wasn't even funny, we were throwing popcorn, we were talking, we were just having fun, period. The movie was finally over and we went out to the cars. We just stood around and talked.
Peyton and Dylan were talking a lot so me and Layla decided to talk. "I have a serious question." She said, kind of in a whisper. "Hmm?" "What will we do when they go back?" She asked. I knew the day that they were leaving was coming, I didn't know when. Dylan hadn't mentioned anything, so I didn't think it would be soon. "Skype, visits, you know..." I said.
Peyton and Layla left and then it was just me and Dylan. We got in the car and he drove me home. He was acting kind of weird now, short answers, just not him. He seemed pretty sad about something.
We pulled up and he rushed to get the car door for me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me in close. We stood there for a while, I pulled back just enough to give him a kiss. He smiled a little bit and it went back into a frown. I looked into his eyes. "What's wrong?" He just shook his head and looked down.
"Nothing." He said in a stern tone. I looked up. "Dylan..." "Aubree, I'm leaving in two days." He said, bringing me into a close hug. My head was into my chest. I knew he would be leaving, but in two days? I wish he would've let me know sooner.
I felt my eyes water up but it just went right through Dylan's shirt. I could hear him sniffling as well. I pulled back and wiped the tear. I try to force a smile. "D-don't cry." I said. He pulled me into for another hug. "It's kind of hard when I'm leaving the girl I love in two days." I hugged him tighter until he finally let go. "We'll hang out tomorrow okay?" He said, giving me another hug. He kissed me once more. "I love you." He said, kissing the top of my forehead. "I love you too." I replied.
