Falling for You [Jeongmo ft. Michaeng]

Chapter 5

Jeongyeon POV

When the movie ended, we all went to our rooms. Momo was so tired, and I wanted her to get enough sleep before tomorrow. I wanted her to be energic, cause I wanted to ask her out tomorrow.

'Well not as a couple of course', 'We're both straight' I reminded myself.

I always took care of Momo cause I couldn't stop myself from doing it. Momo is like a little cute thing that should be protected.

We got up and went to our room. Momo slowly laid on the bed, while I then laid beside her. I was tired too, but I couldn't fall asleep easily. I just stared at the ceiling blankly without falling asleep.

"Jeongyeon ah........It's cold" I heard a little squeek. It was Momo.

"Want my blanket"? I turned my face to her.

She then stared at me silently.

"But I don't want you to be cold" she answered innocently.

'shit', 'my heart is beating like crazy'

Without saying anything, I just gave her my blanket, and made sure she was covered so she won't get cold.

"It's okay, don't worry about me" I then answered.

Silence kept hanging around in the room until I suddenly felt an arm around me.

"Please don't get cold because of me" Momo said while hugging me.

'fuck'

'My heart is melting, please stop Momo ya'

Without realizing it myself, I hugged her back with no words. I don't know how long we stayed like this, but I felt really warm inside the whole time. I remember how I fell asleep while we were hugging each other.

'I wish we could stay like this forever'

*the next day*

I woke up still feeling the warm hug that I recieved from Momo. We were still hugging, and Momo was still asleep. I couldn't stop admiring her. She was so beautiful and cute while sleeping.  I didn't want to get up until she was fully awake.

I had no idea of what to do, so I just kept hugging her back while she was sleeping. I slowly caressed her cheek, and stroke her hair.

'Momo ya, I love you, but my mind won't admit it'

After half an hour, Momo finally woke up. She slowly got up while rubbing her eyes. She was so cute while waking up, I couldn't resist her. I wanted to hug her again so bad.

"Good morning Momoring" I greeted her.

"Good morning Jeongyeon ah" she said, with her cute raspy morning voice.

Momo POV

I woke up next to Jeongyeon, and started rubbing my sleepy eyes.

"Good morning Momoring" she greeted me.

"Good morning Jeongyeon ah" I greeted her back and went to the bathroom.

I took a shower, and when I finished, I went back to the room and started drying my hair, so I could get dressed after. We didn't have any schedules today, so I decided to wear something simple. I wore a black shirt and black pants before I went downstairs to have my usual breakfast.

When I went down, I got approached by a smiling Jeongyeon.

'I can never get enough of this smile'.

"Momo ya let's eat breakfast, I already prepared some for us" she said.

'Jeongyeon ah, stop being so kind'.

"Alright" I answered and sat on the table in front of Jeongyeon.

While we were eating, Jeongyeon suddenly started the conversation.

"Momo ya, do you wanna go to a café with me today?" she asked.

My heart started beating fast. How could I refuse her offer?

I nodded without hesitating.

"Thanks Momoring, it'll be fun" she answered happily.

When we finished eating, we went outside the dorm, and started walking to the nearest café. None of us said anything the whole way, and it was a little bit awkward. I gazed a few times at Jeongyeon, but she didn't notice.

Suddenly I tripped over the damn pavement. 'Godammit, why always me?'

'When did I turn into Sana?'

I closed my eyes, and was ready to face the ground, but I didn't.

'Heol, what's happening?', 'Why am I not getting hit by the ground?'

I slowly opened my eyes, and found myself facing Jeongyeon directly while she was holding me, preventing me from falling. She was like leaning in front of me.

'HOLY SHIT, this is the 2nd time I almost kissed her'

I stood up straight, and looked at Jeongyeon.

"Thanks for saving me" I thanked.

"No problem Momo ya, please don't be clumsy like our squirrel" she answered with a chuckle.

"Yes, don't worry Jeongyeon unnie" I said while chuckling too.

"Let's go" she said, and then we made our way to the café.

*at the café*

"Thank you Jeongyeon ah" I thanked her for paying for my drink.

"No problem Momoring, I'll pay whenever you want" she said making me blush in front of her.

'Oh no Momo, not again'

We both started taking sips of our drinks while looking at each other.

'What are we doing?' I said, but at least I had the chance to admire her.

She was like a boyfriend with such a golden heart. Anyone could fall for her to be honest.

Jeongyeon POV

After we finished our drinks, we decided to go to the park. I wanted to take Momo to the park, cause it was my favorite place to go, when I needed some space. But this time, I wanted to go with Momo, because she was someone special that I would like to take with me, to my favorite place.

We walked through the park for many hours, and it was already getting late. The blue sky faded into a beautiful sunset. We walked beside a long river. The river was so beautiful and it reflected the sunset.

There was no one but us left in the park. We sat under a tree beside the river, admiring the sunset in front of us. The park was silent, the only thing we could hear, was the silent wind. Suddenly I wrapped my left arm around Momo.

'What am I doing?' I asked myself.

I felt like it was right and wrong at the same time, but I couldn't remove my hand from her. I just pushed her closer to me.

We stayed like this for god knows how long, until Momo broke the silence.

"Jeongyeon ah" she said.

"Yes Momo ya?" I answered.

"I love you"
