Chapter 20

Chaeyoung POV

It was late and I was walking back to the dorm with Mina. While walking, I couldn't stop holding onto her. I was so clingy but I couldn't stop. I just loved this penguin so much.

"Yahh stop being so clingy" she whined. God she was so cute.

"I just can't let go of you" I answered her while burying my face in her arm.

I didn't recieve an answer from her.

We suddenly stopped.

"Mina?"

I looked up at her.

I saw her suddenly closing her eyes, lost her balance and fell backwards.

"MINA NO!"

I tried to hold her, preventing her from falling. She was now in my arms but I couldn't carry her, so I laid her on the ground.

Her temperature was high and she was sweating so much.

'Oh no did she faint again? Oh god please save her'

I knew I couldn't carry her by myself, so I decided to call Jeongyeon.

"C'mon Jeongyeon please pick it up" I started shaking. I couldn't handle looking at Mina like this. I had to bring her to the hospital as soon as possible.

"Hello?" Jeongyeon answered the phone call.

"OH THANK GOD JEONGYEON. MINA JUST FAINTED ON THE STREET PLEASE COME AND HELP ME UNNIE!" I screamed.

"Shit. Alright, I'll come now" Jeongyeon ended the phone call.

I went over to Mina and laid her head on my lap. I looked at her pale face.

"Mina, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve this heart disease. You don't deserve to live your life like this. You did nothing to deserve all this" My eyes started getting teary.

I caressed her cheek.

"First Momo, and now you. Why is all this happening?" My heart felt like it was being stabbed a thousand times.

"Mina ya.....stay strong"

Jeongyeon POV

I quickly ran out of the hospital as soon as Chaeyoung called me. Why is all this shit happening to us? I really wished that Mina was okay even though she just fainted. I just hoped that her heart disease didn't get worse.

After running a bit I finally spotted Chaeyoung from afar. I quickly approached them and saw Mina lying on Chaeyoung's lap while Chaeyoung was crying over her.

"Chaeyoung ah, please don't cry. I'll bring Mina to the hospital, you can go back home and rest" I patted Chaeyoung's back.

"No way, I won't be able to rest if my mind is on Mina the whole time" Chaeyoung almost shouted at me.

"Okay okay, let me carry her" I moved Chaeyoung aside and lifted Mina up with both my hands.

"Shit, you're strong, no wonder Momo fell for you and keeps talking about you" Chaeyoung smirked at me.

I chuckled.

"I hope Mina is okay" I changed the subject.

"Me too" Chaeyoung answered half heartedly.

*at the hospital*

"um I'm sorry to say this, but I'm afraid that her condition has gotten worse" the doctor shook his head.
