Chapter 32

Mina POV

I woke up realizing I wasn't at the dorm. I was lying in a strange bed not knowing where I was. I tiredly looked around but everything was blurry. I tried to stand up, but my back and head was hurting so much that I immdediately laid down again.

'Where am I?' I thought when someone entered the room I was in.

I couldn't recognize the person.

"Mrs. Myoui Mina, you have broken 4 ribs and 1 arm. Your head is not hurt that much, but you need to stay still and rest for at least 2 weeks. Luckily you're awake now and got saved from many injuries because your friend Son Chaeyoung protected you from hitting the ground directly"

Hearing Chaeyoung's name made me feel even more painful. From what I heard from the person, I knew that I was lying in a hospital and that the person was a nurse.

"Can I see Chaeyoung?" I asked the nurse.

"In her current condition, no one is allowed to visit her until she gets moved from the red zone"

My heart skipped a beat.

'Did she just say red zone?'

"I-is Chaeyoung o-okay?" I stuttered a lot and my body was shaking.

"Mrs. you need to calm down. That's not good for your body" the nurse said as she checked on me.

"O-okay" I answered still worried about Chaeyoung.

"How is Chaeyoung?" I asked the nurse again.

"She's currently still passed out, she has a broken back, a broken leg and a little crack on her skull. She has a 50% chance of losing her memory, and she almost had a near death experience. But the doctors are taking care of her, no worries" the doctor gave me a sad smile.

My jaw dropped.

I drowned in my thoughts.

Chaeyoung did all this to save me.

She took the pain instead of me.

Chaeyoung did everything just to stop me from suicide.

What am I even?

I'm only a selfish bitch who deserved that pain.

I only think about myself.

I don't deserve Chaeyoung.

"She's gonna be fine" the nurse patted my shoulder and left before a tear escaped my eye.

Why is it always Chaeyoung who has to experience all the pain?

Just why?

Tears kept falling while I silently prayed for Chaeyoung to live.

Chaeyoung just wouldn't leave my mind.

I really missed her.

A lot.

-Flashback-

Everyone were having fun and chilling in the leaving room until Mina dropped her cup and it broke into tiny pieces on the floor with all the hot chocolate all over the carpet. Nobody reacted before Mina ran out of the living room leaving the others behind. Everyone gasped and nobody dared to run after Mina.

"What's happening to her?" Jihyo said shocked.

"I think it's because of Chaeng" Jeongyeon shook her head.

"What's with her and Chaeyoung?"

"I don't know" Jeongyeon shrugged.

"We need to help her" Momo said.
