Scarlett walked home with Harper. After a long day of school, girls asking her out, and Harper teasing her all day, Scar was tired and just wanted to hang out.
"So do you have feelings for Drew?" Harper whispered. She was smiling. Scar punched her and walked faster. Harper giggled. "Someone has a crush..."
"Harper would you please stop. I just met him. He's probably like every other guy at our school, gay. He probably wants nothing to do with me." Scar said. Her throat burned with what she had said. For some reason, she hoped it wasn't true. That maybe he was straight like her and wanted to be with her.
"Scar, I've known the boy since kindergarten. I know for a fact he has never dated a boy." Harper said.
"Has he ever dated a girl?" Scar asked. Harper went red.
"Let's say I've made some decisions in life that were probably not best." Harper said. Scar nodded.
She knew of Harper's little rebellion phase. Harper had gotten grounded for months after she was caught dating a boy. Scar had heard it all over the news, but hadn't known it was with Andrew.
"Anyway, what do you wanna do?" Harper asked.
"Depends..." Scar said. "Is there something you want to do in particular?" Harper smiled.
"Let's go to your apartment first, then we can go." Harper said.
"You aren't going to tell me, are you?"
"You are just going to have to wait and see." Harper flipped her hair and giggled. Scar rolled her eyes.
They finally arrived at Scar's apartment. Scar opened the door, the smell of lilacs flooded their noses.
Scar's mother's were cleaning the house. Harper put on her best smile.
"Hi Rosy and Eleanor." Harper said.
"Well if it isn't our two favorite girls." Rosy said. Rosy had black hair and bright green eyes.
"Hello Harper." Eleanor said. Her blonde hair was in a fish tail and her soft blue eyes were filled with kindness.
"Aww...You're making me blush!" Harper said giving them both a hug.
"Hi mom... Hi Ellie..." Scar said. She wasn't really used to the whole 'two moms' thing yet. It used to be just be her and Rosy.
Scar went to her room and set down her backpack. Harper followed.
"Your moms are so nice!" Harper said. She set her bag down and jumped onto Scar's bed. Scar sat down at her desk, getting her homework ready for when they came back.
"So you ready to go?" Harper asked. Scar nodded.
Harper led Scar outside. She kept her hand over Scar's eyes.
"You better not get us killed..." Scar mumbled.
Harper giggled. Scar tensed up as she felt a cold breeze.
"Harper..." Scar said. She was on edge, waiting for something to happen.
"We're here." Harper removed her hand. Scar looked around and gasped.
"Harper..." Scar stared at the old building. It was starting to crumble, but it still stood in all it's glory. "You brought me to a hangout?"
"Not just any hangout."
"Club Thunder? The one for the school?" Harper nodded proudly. "Don't you need a reservation?"
"Luckily, your girl Harper has a friend who works here." Harper climbed up a rusty ladder to the roof.
"This seems illegal..." Scar said, but she followed Harper.
"What could go wrong?"
