Scar walked into school and saw Harper. She sighed and came up to her, gently tapping on her shoulder.
Harper spun around and hugged Scar, squeezing her to death.
"You're alive! Oh my gosh you're alive! I'm so sorry!" Harper said swinging Scar from side to side.
"Okay, I forgive you. Now put me down." Scar said. Harper put Scar down.
"Where'd you go?" Harper asked, calming down as if she hadn't just flipped out. Scar sighed.
"I walked home..." Scar said, telling the truth, but not all of it. Harper narrowed her eyes.
"Okay..." Harper nodded a little. "It was awkward after you left..."
"I would expect it to be awkward." Scar started walking to her locker. Harper followed.
"Yeah, but it was really awkward." Harper said. Scar opened her locker and love notes poured out. They both sighed.
"This isn't fair..." Harper said. Scar raised an eyebrow. "You're the most attractive girl in all of Dean county!"
"Aww...That means a lot coming from you, Harper." Scar said smiling.
"Ha! You won't be for long." Harper flipped her hair and leaned against the lockers.
Scar rolled her eyes and threw away the notes. She was tired of getting them, everyday a new pile.
"Have you seen Drew? I haven't seen him at all and he should have passed us to go to class by now." Harper asked. Scar tensed up. Harper noticed.
"Scar..." Harper said, slowly drawing the word from her mouth. "You know something."
"No, I don't." Scar shook her head in defiance.
"Yes you do." Harper picked at her nails.
Scar sighed. "Can't hide anything from you can I?"
"Nope."
"Yes, I have seen him." Scar explained everything, every little detail of last night.
Harper wad smiling. She started giggling. Scar frowned.
"What?"
"You are so adorable." Harper said ruffling Scared hair. She started to walk towards their class. Scar closed her locker and followed.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I love your innocence." Harper walked into the class. It was history. Scar took a moment to close her eyes and take a deep breath.
Scar came in and sat down beside Harper. Their teacher, Mr. Seymour, came in with his satchel.
"Good morning class." Mr. Seymour said.
"So what are we going to do today, O Great One?" Scar said smirking.
Mr. Seymour put down his satchel. He was practically like Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World.
"We are going to learn about how one wrong move, can change the world." Mr. Seymour said.
Scar listened to Mr. Setmour. She loved his speeches and lectures about life. They were the best part of her day.
Scar noticed that Harper's gaze was fixed to the seat behind Scar. She glanced behind her and Kiara say there.
Kiara had beautiful dark skin and soft brown eyes. Today she was wearing a shirt that showed her shoulders and dark blue jeans.
Harper was practically drooling over herself. Scar giggled.
"Hey Harper, are you getting turned on by Kiara's shoulders?" Scar whispered. Harper gasped and kicked Scar.
"Ladies, is there something you want to share with the class?" Mr. Seymour said.
"No sir. We are fine." Scar smiled. Harper crossed her arms. Scar playfully punched her. "Just teasing my friend here."
