"We ran as fast as we could, the mob close on our heels," Drew explained to the kids in front of them. Scar leaned against a bookshelf, listening to their story. The kids were on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next sentence. Drew was actually good with kids, even if he says he doesn't like them.

"We ran into an alley, but it was a dead end. Neither of us knew what to do. We got caught, taken back to a place where we didn't belong...Back to home...They separated us and made sure we wouldn't see each other again. Even at school, they started monitoring the halls. They weren't going to have "bad" influences in their schools," Drew continued. He looked up and saw Scar. He smiled. Scar rolled her eyes and smirked. The kids all turned around and giggled.

"Look it's Scar!" A little boy ran up to her and hugged her tightly. Scar patted his head.

"I think story time is over for today." Scar sadly looked down at the little boy. He had a pouty face. Scar ruffled his hair.

"Awwww..." All of the kids whined. Drew looked at his watch and stood up.

"She's right. All of you better run off to your parents before they get mad." Drew walked over to Scar. All of the kids left the outdoor classrom, they were finally alone. "Hey beautiful." Drew smiled.

"Hello. How was work?" Scar smiled a little. Drew kissed her cheek.

"Better. The kids really enjoy our story." Scar smiled and an arm around his shoulder.

"I told you. Just because people hated it before, doesn't mean that they hate it now." She smiled, but noticed something was bothering him. Scar made him look at her. She cocked her head. "What's wrong?"

"I'm worried it'll influence the kids though. What if their parents are against it?" Drew frowned and looked down. Scar stood on his tip-toes and kissed his forehead like she used to.

"Everything is going to be fine, Drew. They won't hurt us." Scar looked up any him. Drew hugged her. Scar rubbed his back.

*~ Flashback ~*

Scar was crying. Drew pulled her close to him. He pulled up both of their hoods and stayed low. Scar put her hand over her mouth to hush her sobs. People ran past their hiding place. Scar hugged Drew's arm and shut her eyes tightly.

"It's going to be alright Scar..." Drew whispered. He wasn't sure of this, but he had to say it. Scar nodded a little bit. Drew put his head on Scar's as she slowly drifted off to sleep. He knew he couldn't take her home, neither of their parents would approve. So they sat there, in the silence of the night, waiting for the sun to rise.
