The next 2 weeks were the same old. Sandlot. Sandlot. Sandlot and more sandlot. It just never got old. Me and Benny haven't really hung out. He's been busy with family and I've just been layin around doing nothing. I'll just talk with Johnny or something. I hadn't hung out with Philips ever since that's one night at the park. I know what you all are thinking. That I'm a hoe but no I don't like ponyboy anymore. I'm only hanging with Phillips because I love soccer. I will never see him as anything else but a friend. It was Friday morning. We weren't going to the sandlot. Everyone was busy. I decided to go to benny house. He wasn't doing anything. I put on some black tights and an old shirt of sodas. I tied it from the back so It wouldn't look to big. Then I put my red vans on. I straighten my hair. Brushed my teeth. Chap stick, deodorant, perfume cause you know. I have to look and smell good for benny. The things I do for this boy. Lmao. I grabbed my phone and walked out my house. I arrived at his house and knocked. His mom came out. "Hey Julie" she said hugging me. "Hey! Is Benny here" I asked. "Yeah he's upstairs" she said. "May I go up" I asked. "Yes of course, you don't even have to ask" she said smiling. "Thanks you" I said smiling. I made my way to his room. He was laying on his bed watching tv. I knocked on his door. He looked up. And opened the door for me. "Julie" he said hugging me. "Hey Benny boy" I said hugging back. "What are you doing here" he asked. "I was just bored and plus we haven't hung out at all" i said sitting on his bed. "Yeah I missed you" he said smiling. -2 hrs later- Me and Benny were currently finishing watching a movie Elizabeth. It was If I Stay. The movie ended. "Damm he's boyfriend material" I said referring to Adam. "Hell yeah girl, we have the same taste" She said high giving me a high five. "What do you think about Zac Efron" she said. "He's hot" I giggled. "What about... Justin Bieber" I said smiling. "He's my husband" she squealed. I laughed. "He is hot" I said. We kept talking about hot boys. "O o o what about Dylan sprouse" she said. "Omg that's my man!!!" I almost yelled. "He definitely boyfriend material" she said. "Sorry Liz but he's taken by me" I said. She laughed. "He's perfectection" I said. "Mhm you know it girl" she said. "You guys go realize I'm right here" Benny said. He looked annoyed. "Julie your man is getting jealous" she said pointing at Benny. I laughed. I'm sure I was as red a tomato. "Liz don't start, me and Julie will never be a thing" he said and got up and went to his room. "Oh shit" I said. "Better go talk to him" she said. "Yeah" I said. I was about to get up but she pulled me down. "Do you like benny" she asked. I felt my cheeks heat up. "Umm" I said. I couldn't hold in my smile. She started smirking. "You do!" She said. "Maybe a little, but don't tell him" I said. "I won't but I'm sure he likes you 2, I mean he talks about you all the time when he doesn't see you, and as much as doesn't want to admit it. You should tell him. But go talk to him. Hurry" she said. "Alright" I said as I got up. I went to his room. I knocked. "If it's Elizabeth, go away" he said harshly. "Well im not Elizabeth" I said. He opened the door. "Sorry about that" he said. I walked in. "Why did you get so mad, I mean she's just joking" I said shrugging. "Yeah I know but like I said I don't have time for girls and i know it makes you uncomfortable" he said. "Benny I think it's funny, it doesn't bother me because I um. Li-" I was cut off by my phone ringing. It was Philips. I denied the call. "Who was it" he asked. "My brother" I lied. "Oh alright , but what were you saying" he said. "Um nothing I have to go benny thanks for hanging out with me today. See you at the sandlot tmr" I said and hugged him and walked out his house. I almost told him. When I walked out. I called Philips back. -convo- (P-Philips. J-Julie) P- wassup J- hey sorry I didn't answer. I was with benny P-oh shit sorry. I should've texted you better. J-alright next time but whatcha want P- soccer game? J- meet you there at 6:30 P-okay shortie J-shut up. -end of convo- It was 6. I went home and put my Nike shorts on and a comfy shirt and also some Nike socks. I grabbed my Nike bag and placed 2 waters, my cleats and perfume. I sat scrolling through my phone for awhile. It was 6:20. I started walking to the park. Once I got there It was 6:30. Phillips was already there. "Hey" I said. "Hey, ready to get beat" he said smirking. "I'll let you think that" I said. I put my cleats on. "You ready" I said getting up dusting my thedirt off my butt. "Hell yeah" he said getting up as well. We set out "goalies". We started to play. This game wasn't as competitive. It was funny. We kept making jokes. He actually won me. By one point tho. We soon finished our game. We gathered our things and sat down. "I'm fucken beast" he said. "Shut it Phillips, you won by one point" I said laughing. "A point is a point" he said. "Whatever, next game is mine" I said. "Hey you got water" he asked. "I brought 2" I smiled handing him one. "Thanks" "Np" I said. I checked my phone and had missed calls from Benny, Elizabeth, the sandlot boys and Brian. "Fuck" I said. "What?" He asked. "Look" I said and showed him all the missed calls "You're In deep shit" he said laughing. "Ha very funny" I said smacking him. "I better get home" I said. "Alright let me know when you want me to beat you again" he said. "By one point Phillips one" I said laughing. "But yeah I'll let you know" I said and walked off. Philips isn't a bad guy. He's actually really nice. -skip the walk home- I finally made it to my door step. Once I open the door the sandlot boys and Brian were sitting down they all looked nervous. "Hey guys" I said and put my bag down. "Where the hell have you been? It's almost 10!" Brian yelled. "Chill I was just kinda exploring" I said. "Julie we were worried for you" Timmy said. "You were gone for almost 4 hours without texting any of us" Kenny said. "Are you okay" Benny said putting his hands on my shoulders. "Yes guys I'm fine! You shouldn't worry to much about me" I said. "You're the sandlot princess how can we not worry about you" yeah-yeah said. I smiled. "Awee" I said. "Thank you guys" I said. We then got into a big group hug. "Where exactly where you exploring" Bertram asked. "Uhh places" I said. "Guys I'm really tired I'm gonna go upstairs to sleep" I said. "Goodnight Julie" they all said. "Goodnight... Benny come with me plz" I said. I heard "ooo". "Shut up" I said before grabbing Benny hand. We sat on my bed. "Soo where exactly were you" Benny asked. "No where in particular just practicing my soccer skills" I said "Oh okay, want me to come with you next time?" he said. "No it's fine" I said. He gave me a confused look. "Bc I don't think your mom would be okay with you staying out that late" i quickly added "Yeah your right" he said. I don't know why but I felt unsafe. Scared. I would feel like this some nights. I'll usually go with Brian. But he looks mad. "Benny can you sleep over tonight?" I asked. "Let me ask" he said pulling his phone out. "I could stay" he said happily. "I'm gonna just go get some clothes alright" he said. "Okay thanks Benny" I said. He walked off. I'm so happy to have Benny around. He makes me forget about my problems. I'm falling real hard for him. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at my door. Brian. "Hi" he said. "Hi" I said. "Can I come in" "Go ahead" I said. "So we have been very distant lately after the day you came from Tulsa" he said. "Yeah" I said. "I'm sorry I over reacted the day at the sandlot" "It's okay thats in the past" I said. "We good now, can everything go back to normal" he said with hope in his eyes "Yes!" I said and attacked him in a hug. "Yess! I finally have my baby sis back" he said hugging back. "Benny staying over tonight" I said. "He is?" He said. "Yeah" "You like him huh?" Brian said. I stayed silent. "I like him better than pony" Brian said. "I like him... a lot" I sighed. "I think he likes you too" he said smirking. "I wish, everyone tells me that but I just don't see it, he's only into baseball" i said. And at that moment he walked in. "Alright little sis I'll leave you alone with your boyfriend, no funny business" he said. "Brian" I glared at him. Benny just chuckled. What ? Is he okay. He usually gets mad. "Get out Brian" I said and closed the door. "So what do you want to do?" He asked. "Cmon" I said a pulled him toward the restroom. "It's our official bestfriend sleep over" I said. "And that means we have to take a picture together" I said.

It was something like that. I posted it on my Snapchat and just put 11:11. "Wanna watch a movie" he said. "Yeah ofcourse!" I said. "What do you wanna watch?" He asked. "Anything is fine" I said. "So your alright with scary" he asked. "Uhhh yeah I'm cool with it" i said. "You sure" "Yeah cmon. We soon decided to watch the conjuring. I gotta admit that shit scary asf. I kept squeezing Benny hand. He would just chuckle. "You sure you can handle it" he asked laughing. "Shut up Rodriguez, I'm brave I can handle anything" I said with a smirk. "Okay then" he said laughing. We continued to watch the movie. I got sleepy. "Benny Im gonna fall asleep, you could keep watching the movie if you want" I said. "No it's getting kinda boring,I'll fall asleep with you, it's fine if I sleep with you right?" He asked. "Yess! Is that even a question" I said. "Yeah it's just sleeping" he said. "Alright goodnight Benny boy" "Goodnight Julie girl" I laughed. "We should have more nights like this" he said. "Mhm" I said before I knocked out.
