2 weeks later...
"Hey guys" I say walking into the sandlot.
"Hey Julie" they all say.
"Hi Benny" I say kissing him.
"Ewww you guys always do that. Yuck" Timmy says. I laugh.
"Oh shut up. You guys should get use to this"I say laughing.
"Let's play some ball" ham yelled. I laughed.
After game
"That was a good game" I say. They all nod.
I walk over to DeNunez since he looked kinda distracted the whole game.
"Ay man what's up? You don't look to good" I say. He looked at me then back at the floor.
"I'm fine"he said. I looked at him. He looked at me.
"I'm having family issues" he said.
"Oh, do you want to talk about it?" I asked.
"Not yet" he said.
"Okay but I'm here if anything" I said hugging him. He hugged me back.
"I don't what I would do with you you here Julie. Your like a sister to me" he said. I smiled.
"And your like a brother to me" I said.
After that me and the boys talked for awhile. I'm so glad I moved over here. I miss the gang and all it's just over here I don't have to worry about getting jumped, carrying a switchblade around or none of that. I could be myself.
Me, Benny and Scotty were the only ones left.
"You guys ready for school?" Scotty asked.
"No" Benny said.
"Ugh It's in 2 weeks huh?" I said.
"Yeah" they said.
"I'm not honestly" I said.
"I don't know anyone beside you guys" I said.
"You'll meet new people" he said.
"Anyone who wanna start shit with me better watch the fuck out" I said laughing.
"Hey no fights, but I'll warn them about you" Benny said laughing.
"See you guys tomorrow" Scotty said.
"Are you gonna do something the rest of the night?" He asked.
"Nah, why?" I asked
"Want to hang at my place" he asked.
"Yeah of course, let me just go shower alright?" I said.
"Yeah just come by my house when your done" he said and kissed me.
I took a quick shower. It was 6 by now. I put on (your choice). I take care of my necessities and then I headed out. My parents weren't home neither was my brother. Wow what a family I have.
I arrived at the Rodriguez house.
I knocked and Benny's mom answered.
"Hey" I said hugging her.
"Omg you finally visit" she said.
I laughed.
"I'm sorry, I promise I'll visit more often" I said smiling.
"Okay sweetie, Benny's upstairs" she said.
"Thanks" I said hugging her then walking up the stairs.
I knocked on his door. He opened it and was shirtless.
Woah.
"Like what you see babe" he said smirking. I was speechless. So I nodded. He chuckled.
"What do you wanna do" he asked.
"Put a shirt on first because your distracting me" I said.
He laughed.
"Okay, do you want to just talk?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said.
We both sat down on his bed. I was touching his hair and he was hugging me. We were cuddling.
''Benny'' I said.
"Hmm"
'' promise me we won't grow apart when school starts" I said.
He looked down at me.
"I promise you babe" he said.
"It's just I feel like your gonna find better girls and your gonna leave me" I said. He sat down. He looked into my eyes.
"Don't say that. Other girls aren't as gorgeous as you. They can't play all like you, they aren't as tuff as you. They just don't compare to you. Your the best thing that's ever happened to me. I won't let you go that easy. Ever since you came into my life. I learned that baseball isn't the only thing I love. Cause I love you too." He said. I started crying. I sat up and hugged him. I then kissed him. This kiss was a sweet kiss. We then pulled apart.
"I love you too" I said and put my head on his shoulder.
"Promise me you won't leave me for some other boy when school starts" he said lifting my chin up.
"I promise" I said.
"I only have eyes for you" I said.
He then pecked my lips.
"I only have eyes for you too"he said.
I smiled.
After that conversation we both layed down and talked about school. This is one of the many best nights with my boyfriend.
Okay I'm so sorry for not posting. I promised you guys, but I didn't update. So I'm gonna start writing new chapter today :))
