~~~Storm's POV~~~
"Shadow... remember Waffle House, from yesterday?" I had to stall him. Please don't make me tell you... " You never finished... about Aaron and Mable..." Shadow's eyes flashed in pain and I felt some remorse, "I need you to finish in order for me to trust you," I lied, "please."
"Storm, my wife was murdered, I found out that I had a son because of it. He ran away and I'm looking for him. He went south unfortunately, It was when I went to the south I found you. A wolf. Keeping you was vital to me for my son, the only remembrance of Mable."
"Why?" He knew what i meant... More time was more time.
"He was bullied in his school, for being the only mix of a fox and... a Wolf. The children told him to kill himself, and go down into the gang territory," He grabbed my hand and held it tightly. "I need you, Storm, to help me get Aaron back. Please." My heart cracked .
 Now tell me what the hell is going on." He lifted me up off of his lap and sat in front of me. Handed me the note and I read it, carefully, slowly. Whore, Rouge, Wrath...
"Damnit, Shadow!" I wanted to cry, "I'm rightfully the Alpha, my father, Matthew Youngling Howler is the leader, obviously. I had an elder sister. That crazed bastard murdered my sister in her sleep, and she put up a fight, thankfully, and to no avail. I was next in line and as leader it was my duty to... expand the pack. The Alpha found out ,so I was banished into the PineWood forest. I was left stripped and the only things I had to my name were a knife, a sopping wet sweatshirt, and a note. I cannot interact with any of the pack. Or go into the territory. I'm sorry I put this onto you."
~~~ Shadow's POV ~~~

A black weight settled onto my heart. I didn't hear a word after that horrible, cold, disgusting truth.

Banished...

"Storm..." My body was numb and I felt like I couldn't breathe. A black mist clouded my vision. My heart was pounding through my brain. "Storm..." BANISHED BANISHED BANISHED I could hear Aaron screaming. Mable being butchered. My entire family being wasted away by the hands of a sick, fucking maniac.

Hands were on me. Mable and Storm screaming my name at the same time. A sad, horrible reminder that I lost them all. I couldn't help them. It's all my fault.

"SHADOW! SHADOW!" A slap came across my face and my body returned.  I had broken the skin in my palms by clenching my fists so hard. I was sore all over. It was hard to breathe deep, delicious, hard air. "Shadow? Are you okay?" I looked from my hands and the room to the woman in front of me. Storm was holding my face, her eyes frantically searching me all over for signs of damage.

"I-I..." My throat was dry, the air was choking me but I managed to tell her, "I am... f-fine." Her entire being relaxed. The swagger was gone, the stone-cold hatred of her father was gone, her grip on my face left and she was instantly wrapped around me. Her sobs against my chest told me something broke inside of her. Guilt. Guilt for not being able to help me due to her mistake.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" over and over again. We sat there, crying together over guilt and pain.
