Chapter 3

Marina's POV

2 weeks after launching 11 diamonds, the money started reeling in!

We got the 50 grand easily! And payed off my bail.

And apparently sky got my community service hours less for some reason! So now i'll only have 5 hours of lifeguarding at the beach!

But i cant go to the beach and be the lifeguard!! What if someone recognizes me?! I gotta get some help from charli! She'll know how to help!

She must know something weird to do that can distract the people so they wont notice me!

I dialed her number and called.

Marina:"hey charli!!"

Charli:"hey M! wad up!?" She answered.

Marina:"you know that community service thing i have to do at the beach today?"

Charli:"yeah, what about it?"

Marina:"i need your help! I need you to distract the people at the beach away from me so no one would recognize me."

Charli:"do you even have fans for them to recognize you?"

Marina:"bitch just help me!!"

Charli:"okay okay, a distraction you say..? Okay i'll meet you at the beach and i'll cause a super ultra major distraction!!"

Charli hung up before i could say anything, she sounded excited though!

I arrived at the beach and hid myself in a towel till i reached the lifeguard chair.

Right then i got a call from charli.

Charli:"you at the beach?"

Marina:"yeah, hiding in a towel waiting for your major distraction."

Charli"oh its gonna be major alright!"

Charli hung up. I didn't know what to expect but i hope its controversial enough to distract people away from me.

Charli POV

I knew what's the most controversial thing to do!

Sky and i have been kinda going out, well not exactly going out, like hanging out. Kinda.

So i called sky up and invited her to the beach.

Charli:" hey skyyy!"

Sky:"hey char char! Whats up?"

Charli:"not much! but i was wondering... wanna hang out at the beach?"

Sky:"yeah sure! When?"

Charli:"right now actually, I'll meet you there! Make sure to look super ultra hot! We're gonna cause some controversy uhuh!"

Sky:"Ooo controversy! This is gonna be interesting!"

I hung up and headed to the beach.

I reached the beach and set up a little picnic for us. Well my kind of picnic !

I put a beach towel and placed on top of it a bottle of tequila and shot glasses. I also had some ecstasy for if we wanted to go all crazy.

I just sat there waiting for sky to arrive and all of a sudden someone sits right next to me. Its sky! And she looked so hot i was almost speechless.

"So whats this controversy we're about to cause?" Sky said as she sat next to me on the beach towel.

"Well! I anonymously called some paparazzi and told them to come here. Now all we gotta do is get drunk and wild as fuck!

I start pouring shots for me and her. Shot after shot after shot. We were wasted off our minds!

Just then the paparazzi showed up and started swarming around us.

Sky leaned towards me and whispered "You've got some E on you, right?"

"Yeah." I replied and i got it out of my little picnic basket.

And we started taking pills in front of the paparazzi!

They went crazy!!

Then we started making out and got real touchy with each other and the paparazzi went even crazier!! Almost all the people on the beach were watching us! No one was even swimming anymore!

I made a distraction alright!

Marina's POV

Charli still hasn't caused any distraction yet, ugh.

Wait... Whats that?

There are some paparazzi! Oh crap they're heading towards me!

I hid in my towel again hoping they wont notice me.

Time passed and nothing happened. I took the towel off only to see them circling two girls who seem to be very... Umm... Intimate with each other... Are rihanna and shakirah making lesbian porn again?

Wait.... Thats charli right there! And is that sky?!?!

I didn't know charli was into girls! Now that i think about it, she did try to grab my boobs multiple times. But everybody does that!

I gotta hand it to her thats a great distraction. I mean look at those two going at it! Woah!

Anyway back to being a lifeguard! I mean nobody was even swimming anymore ! They were all too busy staring at charli and sky! Im not complaining! Makes my job alot easier.

This beach and all reminds me of potato. Sigh...

Suddenly i see someone just laying on the shore. Motionless. With the tide going over them, back and forth. Theres something fishy about this! (Pun not intended. Maybe.)

I walked up to this person and they were laying on their stomach, face down in the sand.

I slowly flipped them over to check their pulse. And it was Natalia!!

I pulled her away from the shore and next to my lifeguard chair and started doing CPR. She coughed up some water and slowly regained consciousness.

"Natalia?! Water u doing here?!" I asked.

"Bitch, did you just make a pun? I almost died and the first thing i hear as i come back from the dead is a pun?!" Natalia said as she sat up.

"I saw an opportunity okay! Plus I've been out here for almost 5 hours, i deserve some fun!" I said to natalia.

"Your bitchass wasn't supposed to rescue me anyway! I wanted charli to rescue me! I heard she's on this beach." Natalia told me.

"Well sorry to disappoint ya! But you might wanna take a look at this!" I said as i stood up and pointed at charli and sky who were still making out.

"Nooo! Why would she!? But i.. But i thought.. But.." She started trembling as she spoke.

I just sat there and started feeling sorry for natalia. I gave her a hug.

She looked at me in the eyes and said "marina, i have to tell you something."

"What is it?" I asked.

"You found out potato is actually sky right?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

She took a deep breath and said "Well what you don't know is that potato; your potato is still alive. In his home planet. And he wanted me to tell you that he still loves you."

These words were music to my ears but at the same time they were daggers at my heart.

And i had all these questions flying around my head.

He still loves me?

Why would he lie to me?

Where can i get vodka?
