Marina's POV

I look around the desert that surrounds me as if i can find answers in it's sand.
The ringing in my ears doesn't seem to go away and the shaking in my hands only seems to get worse in time. Am i just wasting my time over this potato?

The fact that Natalia has helped me till here is unbelievable, she even built the space shuttle I'm sitting in right now.

"Everything set in there M?" I hear Natalia's voice through the walkie talkie installed in the control panel.

"Is he even real.." I say with hesitation.

"Of course he is marina. What? Are you having second thoughts about going to the potato planet?" Natalia's concerned voice echoes through the empty shuttle.

"Maybe.. How do you know he's real? Isn't he actually sky?" I ask.

"Marina listen, sky was helping the potato aliens by impersonating your precious potato, BUT it was really him! He controlled her and voiced her from the control center in the potato planet! It was really him marina you have to believe it!" Natalia reassured me "you will know him when you meet him! And trust me he will recognize you!"

"Thank you. Thank you Natalia." I say.

"Whenever you're ready M! Tell me and we will start the lift off countdown!" Natalia replied.

"Give me five minutes i need to do something first!" I say as i let go of the walkie talkie and go look for my phone.

"Take your time" i hear Natalia's voice coming out of the walkie talkie.

I grab my purse and scrummage through it looking for my iPhone.
"Bingo!!" I say as i grab it and pull it out!
I open a new text and look for lana's number.
I stare at the empty text message thinking of what to write.
My brain isn't working though but my hands start typing "Lana, I'm gonna be going on a long trip and if i don't make it out alive i just wanted to let you know, i love you, maybe not as i used to, but you will always have a special place in my heart that no one else can take. Never forget it. Never forget me. Never forget us. xx" and i press send and put the phone down and wait.
