Our new house was roomy, but we had 3 people in our family, and there was about 6 bedrooms. Well, I lost count. Our house was HUGE. I had to prepare fast because it was 7:00 pm and school started tomorrow for me.

I walked through the doors of my new school with my mom. I slowed down a bit. "Let's move, you'll be fine." my mom whispered. The principal greeted us, "Hello, I'm Mrs. Murphy! It's so nice to meet you! You must be Cassandra!"

"It's Cassie, hi!" I said, shaking her hand. We had a long talk in her office about expectations and discipline. I zoned out because sitting outside the office door was a boy, he was shorter than the average guy, but taller than me. Mrs. Murphy finally stopped giving me the speech, she gave me my scedule and as I started to leave, I heard a "Wait," I turned around to see Mrs. Murphy looking at me and glancing out the window. "I decided that I could have someone help you around the school to get used to it." The boy walked into the office.

"Hey, I'm Niall," he introduced himself with a thick irish accent. I looked at his eyes, they were so blue, his hair was blonde and brunette at the roots, I bet he bleaches it. I guess I didn't answer fast enough because he raise an eyebrow.

"You must be Cassandr-"

"It's Cassie" I corrected "Just Cassie," he chuckled and took my scedule. "Nice, you have all the good classes first and the bad ones last. We have one class together!" I heard the disappointment in his voice, I was disappointed too! Who wouldn't want to have all their classes with Niall?

"What class do we have together?" I asked,

"Physics, I dont like physics" he answered.

I groaned, I didn't like physics either, it's too complicated.

"On the bright side," Niall added, "I get to take you through all your classes, so my scedule gets rearanged for a week!"

"I love this school," I murmured,

"Me too," Niall whispered.

Finally, we got to physics class, everyone had a similar irish accent to eachother, I was the only person who was differend. "This is Cassandra-" Mr. McBride, our Physics teacher said.

"Cassie, it's Cassie." Niall corrected while smiling at me, I blushed. I couldn't pay attention the whole class, Niall kept flashing looks at me, there was no doubt in my mind that I had a crush on Niall. As much as I wanted Niall to like me back, there were prettier, skinnier girls than me. The rest of the day went like that, I wish Niall had all his classes with me on a daily basis. But no, it was only for a week.

I got home from school, smiling. "How was your first day of school?"

"Let's just say, I love Ireland." I smiled and ran up the stairs to do my homework. First day of school for me and I'm already doing homework, great I heard my doorbell ring for the first time, I looked out my front window and smiled, It was Niall.

"You forgot this," He said as he handed me my cell phone.

"Oh my God, thanks Niall! Where'd you find it?" I asked.

"You left it in history class, I put my number in, if you don't mind."

"No, that's awesome! Thanks!" my heart started beating rapidly.

"How did you know where I lived?" I asked,

"Oh, I live like two blocks dow-"

"Niall? Niall Horan?" My mom asked,

"Yeah," Niall said hesitantly.

"I talked to your mother earlier today, your parents are staying over for dinner tonight, Greg will be out, otherwise, we would've invited him too. You can just stay here." My mom smiled, I smiled too. For once, I actually liked what my mom was saying.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked Niall.

"We could.. do you need help with homework?" He asked,

"No, I know everything pretty well"

"Want to go to the creek?"

"Where's that?" I asked

"Not far, want to go?"

"Sure," I answered.

When we got to the creek, Niall was the first to jump into the water. "Niall don't you dare-" I warned as he took a handful of water. "What are you going to do about it?" Niall teased as he splashed me with water. "Stop!" I screamed, laughing. "Is the water too cold?" Niall pouted sarcastically.

"Actually, yes it is" I complained

"Sorry," Niall apologized, taking my hand, "That you're going to fall in," he smirked

"Wha-" I let out a piercing scream as he pulled me into the creek with him.

"You warm up to new people you meet really fast" I said

"Is that a good thing?" Niall asked

"Sometimes" I smiled.

Niall started laughing hyterically. "What? I'm not being funny!" I tried to keep a straight face but his laugh was contagious. "Your face when I pulled you in!"

"It's not funny!" I complained whilst laughing.

"But you're laughing!" Niall retorted. "But we better get back to your house for dinner."

As we were walking back, the wind started to pick up, It was getting to be freezing and we wern't even halfway home.

"Your lips are blue" Niall commented.

"Well, that's what happens when you're cold" I said,

"You're cold?" Niall asked,

"No, I'm wearing blue lipstick" I laughed, teasing. Niall frantically looked around, "Oh, here" Niall said handing me his half soaked jacket. "Thanks" I smiled.

"You smell good" Niall complimented

"I smell like creek, dirty creek"

"No you don't, and I didn't know you had curly hair," It was true, I always straightened my hair, I honestly hate my natural hair.

"Yeah, get a good look now because I'm never making my hair like this again."

"It looks pretty curly," Niall said, smiling.

"Thanks, but I still don't like my hair,"

"Hey, I bleach my hair, my natural hair color is pretty close to yours" I blushed, at least there was one good thing about me.
