As the man laid flat on his tummy while watching over his subject, he couldn't help his thoughts drifting to the past. The memories he tried to suppressed had resurfaced while he takes another shot at his main focus for the job. Timothy Wong stayed still, yards away from a pack of wild African lions pawing at each other. He would take randomly pictures at the right time when he gets out of the past, but the memories would keep coming back to him.

Its been three years since he left his home, his family, and the one person who truly loved him the most. His contract was almost finish and the yearning to go back was stronger each day passes by. Excitement and dread mixed into one, as sweats from the African weather dripped down his forehead. In a few day he would take a plane and be reunited once again with his family and the person he love.

"Hey," a voice whispered behind him. "Are you done, Tim?"

Timmy turned his head and found his co-photographer for this project he had taken on. He shook his head and quietly get back to his subjects. The other guy sighed and went back to laying low, trying not to give any hints at the wild animals that there presence would disturbed them.

When all was done, the pair packed their equipment and drove back to their camp. The two have only met for this project so not much was said between the two. There ride was silent but filled with tunes from the other man's phone. Once they arrived at their camp, they unpacked their baggage and went to their designated rooms.

Timmy stared at the bare necessities of a room he called with the exception of bed and a table drawer. He went into his small bathroom and cleaned the sweat and grime that sticked to his body. After he had finished bathing himself, he felt the day's exhaustion caught up to him. Gently laying down himself to the thin mattress, his mind soon drifted to the land of dreams as soon as his head touched the pillow.

The dreams weren't vivid but enough for Timmy to know he was dreaming. It was mostly filled with family members and the people he had met from work. But, it soon shifted to the one person his heart was longing for. After being away, Timmy missed being in someone's arms and care.

It was tough for him, at first, to be independent when all his life he had depended on someone. But the independent lifestyle soon transformed him and was capable of living by himself. The only thing he misses was having someone with him. His dream reminded him of that.

With the sharp features and slanted eyes with tall sharp nose, Johnny's face appeared in his dream. It was a smiling and happy Johnny that greeted him in his sleep. He tried to grab the person in his dreams, but it felt for Timmy that he was getting farther and further away from him. This continued for a while until he felt himself gasping and out of breath. Right after his last gasp, Johnny's presence in his dream disappeared. In turn, Timmy's beautiful brown eyes opened themselves in a second.

Sitting up, he looked outside only to see it was still dark out. He had fallen asleep earlier than he intended to, but it was fine as he faced the wall clock. It read three fifty in the morning and that was enough for Timmy to get ready for the day's work. It doesn't start until five in the morning and then go to another base camp for another subject. It does help to get things prepared early rather than be late and be in a rush.

When everything was all done and ready, he went to check up his partner for their assignment of the day. Seeing his coworker was ready as him, they went ahead and started driving to the other area. This routine went on for a few days until their assignments from the magazine they worked for was finished.

In due time, Timmy had himself standing in an airport with luggage in tow. He was in line to board the flying metal transportation. In steady line, he was next to hand in his ticket and passport. The airline stewardess smiled at him as she gave back the paper documents.

"Have a nice flight with Pacifica Airlines. Hope you will enjoy."

Lugging his baggage behind him, Timmy can't believe he was finally going back home. In a matter of hours, he will be in the comfort of his family, friends and certainly the one he misses the most was Johnny. After three years, he had started to question his decision of leaving, but he stuck through it. What was done was done.

Sighing, his dark brown eyes were gone as his eyelid closed. Timmy wishes he could dream about his lover again before he could wake up and touch land.
