Chapter Thirty Five: Beaches, Trunks, Bikinis, and Jealousies

A man stood on a hill as he scanned the area for empty spots, away from the heavy waves, but still close to the water. Next to him were a woman shorter than him, and to his right was a man of the same stature as him. The trio mimicked each other as they searched for space and found a large amount of unoccupied sandy ground. The man in the middle called out the rest of their group and made their way to that spot.

As the trio walked, the rest of the people trailed after. Behind them, were two men lugging two large umbrella covered by black satin fabric over it. In between the the three siblings and the two friends, were a couple who were too busy in arguing on what to do first once they are settled down. One person is missing from the group due to a date he had with his long time girlfriend, while the other person was too busy with putting on her make up in the vehicle they came in. The person kept the driver waiting until he could leave to park it.

A total of four large soft blankets were laid down on the yellow grainy ground. The man that was standing on the top of the hills placed down a huge basket case he held within his grasp. The two people next to him tried to cleaned the blankets as best they can when sands got onto them.

The group that were behind the first wave of people, helped out in setting up the two heavy large sets of umbrellas. Two men, that wore shades to block the sun from their eyes, managed to make the two objects stand against each other. After they were done, the two women went to sit with the three siblings that were already on the ground chatting about family plans.

When everything was laid on the ground,Timmy's thirst for drink had him taking out refreshment beverages inside the basket. As he poured cola in one of the glass he had arranged for everyone, he looked at the tall olive tone skin man a few feet away from him. That man was Johnny, who was currently taking off his shirt, showing his muscular figure.

Timmy's eyes followed Johnny's every movement as he drank the cold cola. He was soon distracted by a sickeningly sweet giggles by his side. Eyes rolled when Timmy took a glance at the annoying woman sitting close next to him.

"Hi, Genevieve." Timmy's tone was monotonously dead. "You don't really give up do you?"

The way Genevieve looked at Timmy, you could draw hearts on her eyes and she would still see through it. "Nope, I'm like superglue. I'll stick to you no matter what."

Lily, who was helping out Sheryl and Bai fix the entrees and other foods they brought, made a retching noise as if she was vomiting. In the process, she swatted Bai's fingers when his hand wormed their way to a round plate with little droplets of water condensing on the cover. A glare was sent towards her brother, then called out one of her most loved brother.

"Johnny Ge! Sef!" Lily yelled out their names. "Come on down or the foods going to be eaten."

Johnny still wore his glasses and watched Timmy stare at him in his peripheral vision. The subtle smirk disappeared on his face. Jaw clenched, he slowly walked to the empty space next to Sheryl. Sighing, he thought it was best to keep his distance because of what happened last night and the news he had gotten from his father and Lance.

The mixture of spring and summer temperature were fighting with each other. Despite having the hot sun beating down on everyone, the cool breeze made it a good day to soak in the sun and enjoy the day.

Very early in the morning, Jessica lef tthe manor for a text that her parents wanting meet with her. Simon and Natasha were quick to take their breakfast at the same time Jessica had left. They headed out for their interview around the time Johnny, Bai and Sheryl woke up. Natasha handed out the invitations to Sheryl and Bai then went their ways.
