Ch. 34 Back Home

We left Australia and flew back home for New Years. We still have three days until we start the new year.

Once we got home I called everyone to my flat.

"Guys, I bet you're wondering why I've called you here." they all nod and I smile.

"Well, I was made aware that I was ignoring you guys. The reason I wanted all you guys here was because I have a little surprise for you all." I say as I walk away

I go to my music room and take out one of my CDs. I give it a kiss before I leave and return to the room.

"I did a lot of thinking. I noticed how my sister treats the guys over there, and I want to be nice. She's written then two songs that they're going to sing and I wanted to give you this," I hand Niall the disc.

"What's this?" he asks

"A CD. I wrote them a while ago and I picked a couple I recorded and put them on this CD. I thought these would be perfect for you guys."

"That's fantastic. Thanks," Harry says sincerely.

"Well, I just hope this forgives me for ignoring you all."

"Yes," Louis tells me with a giant smile.

"Um, if you want to listen to it. It might be better to hear it in the music room," I offer.

They all stand and go there. I want to follow, but I don't. I stay in the kitchen and stare at nothing. I just lean against the counter and stare. My thoughts go everywhere and I think back to Australia. Ciara seems happy, really happy actually.

I smile as I remember seeing how she and Ashton seemed so happy together. I wish Liam and I had everything sorted out, but it isn't.

"I like how you tell me you've come back," an accusing voice says from behind me.

"Hey Marcus," I greet. "Sorry, we kind of just got on earlier."

"Oh, so how was Australia?" he asks

"Great, I loved being with my sister. She taught me a thing or two. She, as well as Liam, opened my eyes. I forgot I can be a royal bee at times." he laughs at me.

"Well, at least you had a good time"

"Hey, how are you anyways? How's John?" I ask

"We're good," he smiles.

"We?" My eyebrows lift as I smile smugly. "Are you not telling me something?"

"Well, while you were gone, I went to a Christmas party and there was mistletoe and..."

"You guys kissed and what?"

"Well, we're kind of a couple now," he smiles.

"Kind of?"

"We haven't really put a label on us, but I don't really know." He smiles sadly.

"Aw, Marcus. Don't feel bad, Liam hasn't put a label on us... I don't even know where we stand right now," I say sadly.

"We are some lonely people, huh?"

"Yup, but we can be lonely together"

"Nah, I like my solitude."

"Me too," I stick my tongue out at him.

"I missed you," we say together as we hug.

I actually missed my best friend. During the time I blocked out the lads, I did to him too. I forgot to consider everyone other than myself. I put up a wall between me and everyone. Simon called me a couple of times, but I ignored him and I feel bad now.

"Hey, do you mind if you leave for a while. I need to make a call to someone," I ask as he nods.

"I'll actually see you tomorrow," he says as he walks to the door.

"Hey, come on back for the Eve. I'm deciding on throwing a little party for us."

"Sure, I'll bring John too."

I smile as I hear the door close. I pull out my phone as I dial Simon's number and call.

Ring

Ri-

"Hello?"

Marcus has reappeared... And John will be back too. I wonder what Simon called Laura about? O.o
