Ch. 31 Planning

¤Niall P.O.V.¤

Laura had been out of it for a couple of days.

Anyone whose ever tried to visit her has come back either soaking in food or liquids, or seeming depressed.

I visited her once and I never want to do it again. All she did was lie on the couch staring at the TV with the stereo blasting. She only got up to get food or go to the loo.

She made me feel really depressed.

I told Zayn that we needed to do something. I suggested that we should send Laura to Australia or have her sister come over here. He actually thought it was a good idea.

So we've been planning when we should do it.

I informed all the other lads and they helped decide when.

Louis actually suggested that it should be a cover up Christmas present for Laura as his birthday present.

He can be smart when he wants.

~4 Months Later~

We finally convinced Laura to come with us on a trip for "Louis'" birthday. We even got her to wear a blindfold. Saying that Louis wants it to be a surprise where he chose to take us.

When we arrived and were through customs we went on our search for Ashton. Both Louis and I know who he is and we almost want to faint in his presence.

This is the drummer to 5 Seconds Of Summer. This dude is a great drummer.

In the car he tells us the plan as Laura isn't paying attention. At the house we put it into action and we all get into boxes.

I can hear when she open Zayn's and they greet. When my turn comes I'm sad to see I'm the last one to come out. When Ciara moves to Laura's box I hold my breath. When they are face-to-face I'm scared of what they might do.

All of a sudden they hug and have tears.

My stomach growls and I have to interrupt this moment.

"So, where's the food?"

"Niall," Ciara turns to me. "There's food in the kitchen, feel free to eat one plate of food for now. No more, no less"

I pout at her words, but leave to the kitchen

I find the food and walk around the house while I eat. I find an open door and walk inside. I turn on the light and notice its a basement. I walk down the stairs and look around. It reminds m of Laura's music and art room.

I notice something in the corner and its a painting with a CD or DVD- I can't tell- connected to it. I walk backwards and I bump into something. I hear the drums crash and I causes a whole Domino effect. Almost ever instrument falls until it hits the painting and it drops ripping it.

"Niall!" I hear from upstairs and then many footsteps.

Ciara is the first I see and she starts to cry at the damage. She runs to the painting and cries even harder

"Ciara, I'm so sorry. I'll pay to have this all fixed." I say mentioning to the damage

"Niall, I don't care about the other stuff. This," she say pointing at the painting, "is irreplaceable and isn't fixable."

"Sure it is." I tell her, "I mean I can have someone fix it."

"Niall, you can't." She yells at me as she makes her way up the stairs.

Laura looks up the stairs following her sister and her eyes show pain.

"Niall, you don understand do you?" Laura whispers as she turns to look at the painting.

"Understand what?" I ask

"Niall, that isn't just a painting," she walks up to it. "It was a gift." She looks at me and then walks away.

"Mate, what happened?" Liam asks.

"I was just admiring it like I did to Laura's stuff and then I bumped into the drums and ka-boom." I tell him.

"Niall," Louis holds out my name as I feel bad about what happened.

"That painting was a present for you, huh." I tell Ashton.

"Most likely," he nods and tries to reassure me.

A/N

I actually really like this chapter. I think this will end in like 5 chapters...? maybe 10 at the most, maybe less. I don't really know.
