Ch. 16 Confruntation

¤Zayn P.O.V.¤

It's been a day since Laura kicked Anne and my mum out of her flat. My mum is still hysterical; I try to ask her what happened, but she starts to ball her eyes out. I don't know what to do so I leave her alone. I'm in my flat and it's getting late when I hear a knock at the door.

"Coming" I yell, running to the door.

I open the door expecting to see one if the lads, since they forget their keys all the time. Instead I see Laura at the door with Marcus.

"Um, hi" I say shocked

"Hi, is your mum or Anne home?" She asks

"Yeah, they're in the living room"

"May I speak to them. I need to apologize for kicking them out"

"Um, sure" I stepped aside to let her in. "This way"

I started to walk to where my munn was and saw that Anne was already there,

'Good I don't have to get her'

"Hey mum, Laura's here to apologize."

My mum turned around looking surprised and scared.

"Hi sweetie. You really don't have to apologize to us." My mum told her

"But I do. I kicked you out; yelling at you, not believing the truth."

"So you believe me?" Laura nodded

"I went back and saw the pictures. I called my dad and he confessed to it. So did she. My older siblings said yes to."

"Wait. The older ones? I thought they didn't know." Anne said

'I'm really confused now'

"Well they figured since they never saw her pregnant then suddenly I was born." Laura explained looking at the floor. I'm still confused.

"Sweetie?" Laura looked at my mum. "You forgive me from keeping this from you?" Laura nodded. "Oh thank you. I don't think I could live if my daughter didn't forgive me"

"Of course I forgive you, you're my real mum."

'Daughter? Real mum?'

"What do you mean daughter?" I looked at my mum. Then turned to Laura, "and real mum?"

"Oops" they all said.

"Shit, I forgot he was still in the room," Laura said.

"Mum, what do you guys mean?"

"Well-" she tried to speak, but was,at a loss for words.

"I'm so sorry." Laura said.

"No don't be. It was going to happen sooner or latter." Anne said.

My mum whispered something in Anne's ear and then started to tremble. Anne looked at a Loss of words and turned towards Laura with a pained expression.

"Laura? Please explain to him. Tell him what I told you" my mum instructed Laura. Laura nodded and turned to me.

"Zayn I need to explain a couple of things that I just found out. It would help if we sat down." She went to sit on the couch and everyone followed suit.

"Zayn...um I don't know how to say this. Um I guess I'll just rip the bandage off. Zayn, I'm your sister."

"My sister? Ha, that's funny" I said laughing

"Zayn I really am. I'm your half sister."

"This is a really funny joke. It would be great if I believed it though."
