Shin bi walked to the girls rest room to wash her face. She was tired after all. She didn’t even know that someone was watching her going to the rest room. The shadow behind the door walked inside to the girl’s rest room. She heard the door closing with a loud creak and it made Shin bi raise her head up.

“ Hello? Who is there?” Shin bi asked as she turned to her back. She did feel something strange. When she noted there wasn’t anyone turned back towards the mirror in front of her. After washing her face and dried of the water she walked back to the locker room. She was happy because her last period wasn’t bad at all.

“ Hey, why is she teaching us those lies when we already know they aren’t the truth?” Eun mi, the crazy lizard asked me as she closed her book with a loud thud.

“ What has gotten on to you, miss. Song?” Teacher raised her voice at Eun mi. She didn’t even listen to those scolding of the teacher. Shin bi was confused about ‘how can a girl act like that?’. Eun mi waited patiently for 5 minutes knowing the bell would ring.

“ Do you seriously hate this subject? This wasn’t bad at all!” Shin bi looked at the teacher and turned her gaze towards Eun mi. She shacked her head as a response to Shin bi’s question.

“ Mom, I am home!” Shin bi shouted as she made her way towards the kitchen. She realized that her mother wasn’t home at all. She sighed loudly, her eyes were filled with tiredness and sadness. She never got the chance to spend her time with her parents. She wasn’t lazy in the past. She wasn’t sad in the past. She didn’t have problem to worry about in the past. Her smile faded away when her mom stayed late at her work in the office without coming back to home.

“ Mom, why can’t you come back to me? Why did u choose to stay away from me after the death of my father?” Shin bi was lying on her bed whispering to the air. She heard the front door opening with a loud creak. She didn’t want to see her mother in that moment. Hatred built up in her veins when she thought about her mother abandoning her. She closed her eyes and snuggled closed to her blankets. Her bedroom door opened slowly and she heard faint footsteps towards her bed.

“Go away mom... I don’t want to talk with you!” Shin bi turned her back towards her mother. She was waiting till her mother to go back from her room. After few seconds, she heard her door closing with a faint thud. Her eyes closed tighter than before when sleep took her to her dreamland.

Tringggggggg.... the sudden sound in the door way startled Shin bi. She opened her eyes to look at the direction of the door.

“Mom?” She got out from the bed and made her way towards the door. She saw a hand which was covered with blood coming towards her legs. The bloody hand touched her right leg and it made Shin bi scream from her top of the lungs. She stepped back but stumbled over the legs and fell down.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!” She screamed as she felt the pain in her back. She opened her eyes to see she was lying on the floor. It was a dream, a bloody hell dream.

Shin bi’s p.o.v

I gasped when I realized I saw a terrible dream. I got up from the spot I was sitting on. I decided to go check on my mom because I was bit rude to my mom. She would have felt like I really hate her but, actually I didn’t. She was trying to get rid of the pain. I was an asshole to snap at her like that. ‘Sorry mom’ I turned the door knob and got out from my room.

“Mom, you are early today... Did your boss give a break seeing how much work you have done?” I mumbled as I hop on the stairs to reach down quickly. I made my way towards the kitchen passing the refrigerator. That was when I realized  note hanging on the refrigerator. I took the note and read it quickly.

Shin bi,                                                                                              I will not come home today. There will be some left overs, you can heat them and eat. Don’t forget to close all the doors and windows before you go to sleep. Love you so much.                                                                                                 -mom

I felt the shivers running through my spine. Mother didn’t come to the house. I ran towards the land line and took a call to my mom.

“Mom.... Hello.... You didn’t come today? You will not come today? You wasn’t the one who came?” I wasn’t in my right mind. I couldn’t talk properly after I read the note.

“ Oh, hello! Shin bi-ya... What is the problem dear?” I heard my mom asking with a worried voice.

“Mom, did you come here while ago?” I stopped my breathing for a while.

“No dear! I kept a note to you.... Look at the fridge girl! I’ll come early in the morning tomorrow, ok? Why my dear.... Are you doing ok? You can tell me anything, Daughter....!” I couldn’t breath properly as I heard what she said.

“Mom... I am f-fine....” I bit my lip tightening the grip around the phone.

‘if she didn’t come then a robber.... A robber came?’ I mumbled a good bye to mom as I hung up the call. I ran around my house to see if there any windows or doors opened, but there were none.
‘Then how can I heard noises like opening a door and closing? Even.... Wait, my bedroom!!!!! I heard foot steps... I.... was there... sleeping.... if that was a robber he would have done something to me but,..... then...... Who was that?’ I climbed the stairs and went to my room quickly locking the door. I was trembling in fear.... ‘could it be a.... g-gh-ghost...’ I jumped on to the bed covering my self from the head to the toe with blankets... that was when I heard a knock on my door...

“No....!” I closed my eyes tightly.......
