11.15.16

"I remember when I was a little girl, I would imagine myself growing up with hopes and dreams.
As I got older, I started to deal with my self-esteem.
I started to feel different, and at first, I thought it was a bad thing.
Now that I'm older, I'm starting to understand everything.
I'm understanding the universe.
I'm understanding the people and its diverse.
But mostly, I'm understanding life, itself.
Because of you, I"m learning to love myself.
Before you came along, I would of never imagine this bond we share.
I would of never imagine us showing each other how much we care.
I would of never imagine having you become a huge impact.
Because of you, I feel relaxed.
I know we went through alot together whether it was before we met or after the fact we met one another.
I know we are experiencing different things, but deep down inside me, I know we can get through anything.
Because of you, I'm never giving up.
Who would've thought we made it this far?
Today, this is who we are.
I saw you developing from a high school senior to the Marine you're becoming.
Because of you, I can't wait to see what's forthcoming upon us.
Today, I'm smiling.
Pushing myself to go the extra miles.
Showing my brave face.
Risking everything I have.
I let everything slip into my fingertips before.
But I'm never letting you go.
When the world's lights dim down low, I only see you and I.
And I want to keep it that way every night and everyday.
I'll give you everything.
All of my energy.
My time and all of my dimes.
If that means I'll have you in my life.
Thank you for everything.
I can't wait to see what the future is storing.
Thank you for your service.
Because of you, I'm no longer afraid to be nervous around you.
Because of you, I'm looking forward to having you in my future and to pursue that hope and dreams I've dreamed about since I was a little girl".
