You don't know what you have until it's gone
You say in your bed, silent while you're all alone
I called you and you never picked up your phone
And I knew from there, it was over and done with.
Until we started taking again
And although I was in pain, I tried not to let it get to my brain.
I remembered it all because we were sad and it rained that day.
You were confused as much as I was
Things happen just because
You had to think about it and put it on pause
From the moment you realize
And you had your eyes lock with mine
Telling me your confession
That's when you let out your expression
Showing your affection
As much as I was changing
You were engaging, too
Now you know I'm not gone
Now you know I'm still right here
Now I know how much you mean to me
Now you know how much I mean to you
