"So, what's been going on at the trap while I was gone? You handled everything for me?" I asked Jason as I climbed into his truck. It's been two months since I've been in a car, let alone be outside. The only type of outside time I had was on the secluded, enclosed gate on the back side of the rehabilitation center. It wasn't much of outside. It was more like suffocating, if anything.

"Yeah everything's straight around the trap. Yo' girl's been handling most of the shit going on though," He replied, smirking. I smacked my lips. "What the fuck you mean?" "I ain't mean it like that. She's just been taking care of things around there a lot of the times. A lot of the guys really feel comfortable with her around," He replied.

I scrunched up my face. "So, I left for two months and just 'cause my baby mama came to the trap for a few weeks all of y'all turned into p*ssies on me?" He sucked his teeth. "Nah. You twisting up my words man. All I'm saying is that the guys really trust her around the trap. She's really sincere to the guys, especially the young ones, if you know what I mean," He laughed.

"Nah, I don't know what you mean," I replied. "She's just been helping the guys out a lot, especially the younger ones who really don't know what they tryna do or why they in a gang, like Teddy. That niggas been tripping for the past few weeks but Sincere got his ass together though," He said.

I nodded my head. "Cool. How's money looking?" "Pretty good. You know we aren't gonna get a lot until our shipment comes in from Kansas but we got some new niggas out on the streets. They've increased our money too," He replied. "Good. How many new guys are there?" "Like three at the most. We got rid of that old nigga Tony about a month ago."

"'Bout damn time somebody got rid of that nigga. I swear he was working for the police," I said as he pulled up in front of Sincere's house, where she and Victoria were outside. Victoria was running around the front yard playing with her dolls but Sincere was just sitting on the front porch. "Thanks for the ride bro." I reached over and gave Jason some dap before trying to exit the car but he stopped me.

"I talked to the guy about the club about a month ago. Everything's ready to go. We just need you to sign some shit before we give him the money and he hands over the keys," Jason informed me. I nodded my head. "Aight. I'll talk to you about it tomorrow at the trap house." "And make sure Sincere's there too." "I got'cho J," I said climbing out of his car.

Once I closed the door he drove off and Victoria screamed. "Daddy!" She yelled, dropping her dolls on the gorund and running over to me. I smiled and swooped her up in my arms. "I missed you so much Daddy!" She exclaimed, letting me kiss and hug all over her. "I missed you too Tori. You been good for Mama all of this time?" I asked taking her over to Sincere.

She nodded her head, yes. "Of course I was. Are you picking me up from school tomorrow?" She asked. I smiled, even though I was upset about missing her and Deonte's first days of school. Deonte was starting kindergarten this fall and Victoria was starting pre-school. "Yeah, only if Mama says it's okay." Victoria and I both looked down at Sincere, waiting on her response.

"Of course it's okay. Tori go get washed up for dinner." "I wanna stay outside!" She protested, crossing her arms. "I don't give a damn Victoria. You're a school girl now so you've got responsibilities." She rolled her eyes and stomped up the porch steps but I pulled her back. I bent down and got on her level as Sincere sucked her teeth, knowing I was about to give her, her way.

"Hey. Don't do Mama like that," I said lifting her face up by her chin. "But I wanna stay outside." "I know you do but how about if you go wash up now we can get ice cream tonight after dinner." She smiled. "You promise Daddy?" She asked sticking her pinky out. I smiled and shook her pinky. "I promise, now get in the house."
