I banged as hard as I could on Teddy's door. After dropping Marcus off at the hospital, and nearly losing him on the way, I knew I deserved answers from Teddy. Marcus claimed they were just playing around and things got crazy but that didn't seem right. I wanted to know the truth, so that's why I took my ass over to Teddy's house.

"I'm busy!" Teddy yelled from behind the door.

I sighed. I knew he was just trying to avoid me coming inside of his house but that wasn't gonna work with me because I'm gonna have to answer to Effrin and Jason when they're wondering why one of their workers is in the hospital and not out on the streets making them money.

"Just open the door Teddy!" I yelled, continuing to bang on it.

The locks clicked and the next thing I know, I was being quickly pulled into his house. Without saying anything to me he pushed me over to his living room and sat me down on his couch. He plopped down across from me and just began explaining himself, like he already knew I'd be coming over here to talk to him about Marcus.

"Look, first off I ain't mean to shoot Marcus. I was cleaning my gun and I forgot to unload it and he just so happened to be sitting next to me when he got shot. I swear I ain't do that shit on purpose. That's my nigga Sin! You really think I wanna see him like that? Now, King and J gon' be on my ass until Marcus can come back to work but they still on my ass about what happened a few weeks ago. I think I'm gonna lose my fucking job man."

I sighed. "Teddy, just calm down, alright? You're not going to lose your job, I promise you that, but could you please be more careful next time? We don't need you trying to kill nobody, just unload your gun next time you're cleaning it or get one of those newbie's to clean it at the trap. And stop beating yourself up about a couple of weeks ago. It's over and in the past. I moved on."

"I'm trying to move on Sin, but King and J grill me about that shit everyday. They don't even let me go downstairs or even do shit no more 'cause they think I'm gon' steal from them," He replied. "So, what have they had you doing these past couple of weeks?" "Nothing. Usually I'm chilling here at home 'cause they don't want me there or I'm taking care of TJ."

I sighed. "Well get your shit together right now because today is the last day that you're going to be sitting up in this house," I stood up and grabbed my purse. He stood up too. "Where are we going?" "To talk to King and J about getting your job back. I know you need that money to take care of TJ, so I'm not gon' let them fuck you over. You ready?"

He grabbed his keys and nodded his head. "Yeah." We both walked out to my car and I drove off to the trap house, which wasn't too far away from his house. "You know, I really appreciate you helping me Sin. If you wasn't at the trap house I would have lost my job and King would have had a hit out on me a long time ago," He joked.

I could help but laugh, because it was partially true. I don't know what it was with Effrin, maybe it was him being protective of his business and secrets but he never gave someone a second chance or even a chance to explain before he had them mysteriously killed.

"You already know King really cares about you and is only hard on you because he sees potential in you. He just depends on you to do the right thing and he's just been going through it since he got back from his vacation," I replied.

"He already told me what was going on. Shit, if I knew what he was going through I would have had my shit together." "It's whatever Teddy. Just make sure that you get your shit together before he gets even madder about the other shit that's going on. Just keep your ass under the radar at the trap house for a while and things should be good," I replied, pulling up in front of the trap house.
