So many people are getting confused at who Jay is and differing between her and Kay. Jay is Antoine's crazy fiancee from The Sideline Story. She's the one who caused Sincere to have an abortion on the trip to Tahiti. I know y'all might get confused between Jay and Kay so I'll just use Jay's real name (Jaylen) instead of Jay, to make it easier for y'all.

I pushed my front door open and let Victoria, who was holding the food, walk in in front of Marcus and I. "Did you behave yourself with Dawn?" I asked as we made our way back to the kitchen so she could drop the food off. "Yeah. She took me and Hazel to the movies, the park and we went to the mall. She did my hair too Mommy."

She twirled around in her sandals, showing off her hair that was in pigtails. I smiled. "She hooked you up Tori. C'mon let me tie up your hair so you can bathe and eat." She grabbed a hold of my outstretched hand and allowed me to take her out of the kitchen. "Marcus just take a seat on the couch and don't touch anything," I said taking Victoria upstairs.

Surprisingly, we were the only one's in the house. I knew Monroe and Mark weren't going to be here, so that's why I let Marcus over, but I don't know where Quincy was at or what he was doing. He should have been home by now. "Did you miss me Mommy?" Tori asked as I took her into her bedroom, that she rarely slept in since she was always so scared. She always slept in my room.

I smiled and sat behind her on the bed with the comb and brush in my hands. "Of course I did. I was crying everyday waiting on you to come home. I was so lonely here all by myself since you left me." She turned around in my arms and kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry! I won't leave you again Mommy." I laughed, holding her in my arms. "You promise?" She nodded her head, yes. "I promise," She replied turning back around in my arms so I could do her hair.

"You know what," I said brushing out one side of her head. "Daddy's not gonna let you wear your hair hanging down." She smacked her lips. "He doesn't have to know Mommy." I laughed. "You're right but how about I braid it down for the night and curl it in the morning?" I asked. "Okay."

After brushing and braiding down each side of her hair I started her bathroom. "Go get your clothes baby and I'll be right back." She nodded her head and ran out of the bathroom as I made my way downstairs to see Marcus still sitting down on the couch. "Come into the kitchen," I instructed as I walked back to the empty kitchen, where our food was still had. "

I began pulling the containers of the Chinese takeout we had gotten and warmed them up so they could be warm when Victoria got done with her bath. "You know, if you want to continue working with the gang then you're gonna need to get a stronger stomach than the one you have. That throwing up shit is for p*ssies, Marcus," I told him.

He smacked his lips and sat down at my kitchen table with his head in his hands. "My bad. You should have just smelled that nigga. I don't know if it was the poison but I couldn't hold anything down once I started cleaning him up," He replied. "Well next time swallow it down and take it like a man. I can't have you throwing up on me Marcus. Do you think you're going to be ready for tomorrow at the trap?" I asked.

He shrugged his shoulders. "That depends on what you've got me doing. If I'm selling or helping make something then I'm down but I ain't with that killing shit Sincere." I rolled my eyes. "I know but technically I killed the nigga tonight, so you're gonna have to redo your initiation. You only got partially initiated today." He sighed. "What else am I gonna have to do?" He asked, annoyed.

I sighed. "If you want to, you can just back out now because there are plenty of niggas looking to take your spot and make some quick money," I replied. "I wanna do this Sincere. I'm not a killer." "Neither are the rest of the people who work at the trap but we gotta do what we gotta do to survive in these streets. You're not the only person who doesn't like doing shit Marcus, so stop acting like it. We can finish this discussion later once Victoria goes to sleep but help yourself to the food."
