Anticipating what comes next is what kills us all inside. The anticipation of someone finding out your most cavernous secrets and exposing them to the world kills you every night. Anticipation keeps you awake, causes terrible insomnia because of the fear it's causing in the pits of your body.

So, why do so many people crave anticipation and the pure ecstasy of getting their hopes up about something that might not happen? Well, it's the feeling. It's the adrenaline rushing through your body, reaching out to all of your extremities. It's the increase of your pulse and heartbeat, the shortness of breath, the false hope you continue to sell to yourself. It's the anticipation eating you away until you can't go any longer.

It's the anticipation of trying to progress. Trying to move forward and find better but you know you can't. You've invested too much to just walk away, so you put it behind, anticipation the progression you hope to come across in your later years. But, what if that progression never occurs?

What if Effrin can't stomach to tell Sincere about his infidelity or the secret love child he's got sitting around? What if the anticipation's been eating away inside of his body, that he knows he can't open his mouth about it because of the dire consequences he knows he's going to have to face?

What if Sincere can't overcome her addiction? What if therapy doesn't work for her? What happens to Effrin and Victoria, who needs her Mom the most? What if the anticipation of coming clean back fires and she's back to her old ways, sleeping with her sister's husband and every other man she comes in contact with?

Anticipation, it's a defense mechanism that we have in all of us but do Sincere and Effrin know how to control is before their lives come crashing down around them?

"Never forget that anticipation is an important part of life. Work's important, family's important, but without excitement, you have nothing. You're cheating yourself if you refuse to enjoy what's coming."
