Thalia's POV

I rush to put a bra on, but immediately take it off once I realize it's too tight. I begin to regret all of my holiday indulgences as I switch between all of my bras, only to realize they're all too small and severely uncomfortable. I'm only left with a loose sports bra, which miraculously fits well. After slipping into a blouse, I rush to wake up Grayson, while buttoning it up.

"Babe, wake up! I'm running late for work! Please wake Theo up and make breakfast." I quickly say, all while buttoning the sky colored blouse. He groans and puckers his lips for a kiss. I laugh and quickly kiss him before grabbing some slacks.

"Have a good day at work, baby." He mumbles before sitting up. I continue to messily get ready.

"Thank you! Love you!" I call out before grabbing my jacket and a hair clip.

"And I love you." He calls out as I grab my purse and keys, rushing out of the door.

I get to school just in time to write a 'Welcome Back' on the whiteboard. Just as I finish, the first bell rings and students begin to take their seats. I look through my purse and realize I forgot my wallet, meaning I have no money for food.

Great. I'm an unorganized mess and absolutely starving.

Once class officially starts, I finish writing a quick write prompt on the board and face the class, finding some students in a similar mood.

"Welcome back." I paste a smile on my lips. "How was everyone's break?" I ask.

"Good."

"Eh."

"I didn't do anything."

I sigh. Most of the kids aren't even awake, much less responding.

"Well, please take a minute to read the board and then I'll answer questions." I quickly sit in my chair and use the school phone to call home.

"Hello?" Theo's sweet, little voice answers. My eyes widen.

"Theodore Bailey Dolan! What have I said about answering the phone?!" I hear him giggle in response.

"Hi m-" There's a weird, static-y noise and then a heavy sigh.

"I am so sorry, that was my son. To whom am I speaking?" Grayson answers.

I smile softly as Theo yells in the background. "Is Mumma!"

"Oh, hi baby, what's up?" Grayson answers as soon as he realizes it's me.

"I forgot my wallet and I also didn't have time for breakfast, could you possi-" He cuts me off.

"I'll be there in less than an hour, sit tight my love." He chuckles.

"Oh my gosh, I love you."

"I love you more." he laughs. "Bye baby." Once I've hung up, I explain the prompt to the class.

"I want a detailed description of your winter break using as many of our vocabulary terms that you can remember from the first semester. The more vocabulary words you use, the higher points you'll score. This is an extra credit assignment." I announce. I hear some complaints and can't help the immediate irritation I feel, but I hold back from acting upon it.

Soon, it's quiet enough for me to organize and detail my plans for the rest of the week.

Just as first period ends, Grayson walks in with Theo and they're holding my wallet and glorious smelling food. When the smell of coffee hits me, I'm nauseated.

"Not the coffee babe, smells horrendous." I stand up and hug Grayson and then Theo. "But, thank you guys so much, you're both life savers!"

"Oh, sorry," Grayson blushes and hands me the food. Theo rushes over and hands me my wallet.

"Can we stay again?" Theo asks with a smile. Grayson is about to deny his request but I stop him and smile.

"Why not? I could use some of my favorite people." I turn my smile to Gray. Grayson smiles and nods.

"Then we'll stay."

Classes were slow, but comfortable. In the middle of fourth period, Grayson takes Theo to the restroom and a student rushes up to me.

"Yes, Jessie?" I smile as she stands there awkwardly. She's red in the face and teary eyed.

"Ms. Garrett, do you have any pads?" She whispers and my eyes widen.

"I should, let me check my purse." I give her a reassuring smile and start to check my purse and I realize I don't have a single pad in there.

That's weird...

Then I realize that I haven't gotten my period, so I don't have pads in my purse. But my period is irregular so there's almost no chance that I'm pregnant..

"Let me check my desk and then the cabinet." I quickly say. "If not, I can send you to the nurse." She nods as I search my desk. I find some and give her 2, so they can last her the rest of the day.

"Thank you so much." she smiles nervously and rushes to the restroom.

By the time that Grayson comes back, I still have my period, or lack of it, on my mind.

The last time I had a normal period was October, and it's January 10.
